Do you know who really loves Hearts and Hooves Day? Cadance.
Do you know who really doesn’t? Everypony Cadance meets.
Do you think they have a choice when she’s around? Hell no.

(Cover art by Madacon, which inspired the entire thing)

She didn't get everypony!

Neighbor’s eighty-three year-old grandma because the Princess of Love love-lasered them both?

Oh dear lord you actually did it.

“PBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBT…”

Fire the laser!

Well then. :applejackconfused:

Huh. Well, it could be worse than TwiDash.

You've written the greatest love story of our time. I cried every time I read this.

Doneness level > 9000

THE META IN THIS STORY IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.

Sleep dep. is thankfully an easy thing to blame.:rainbowlaugh:

That last paragraph. Sweet Jesus riding a Care Bear that broke me.

Cadance firing love lasers at everypony?

LOL! .No this deserves a ROFL:rainbowlaugh:!I love how this was written Great job!

Um, question. Why wasn't Spike waiting outside Carousel Boutique for the laser to hit?

There was too much of a risk he'd end up getting lazered next to Winona or something while still en route.

THIS STORY IS JUST TOO PERFECT!

>>The24thPegasus Applejack shipped with an apple, who would have thought XD:derpytongue2:

5651252 That's a good point, however, avoiding that risk means that he is risking someone else getting Rarity. Would he take that risk? That is the question.

I usually hate shipping fics but this one seems awesome.

5624677 Why did you say that? How did you type it?

Have you ever considered submitting this story to Equestria Daily? You can find out how to do so here. Where did you get the cover art?

5658295
Yes, I am well-versed in submitting stories to EqD. I already have 3 that have been posted by the site, and am currently working on getting a fourth posted. Unfortunately, EqD does not let authors have more than one story in the queue at a time, so I will not be submitting this until that other story passes moderation.

Information about the cover art can be found in the description.

5658290 I have no idea why that person said it, but I wanted to type out the two last letters that is "æ ø å" which can be typed on a Norwegian and Danish keyboard. :)

I wish you hadn't gone for the super-random "joke is in the cover art" story, but this did make me laugh quite a bit regardless. :)

There, before her, stood something that Rainbow’s mind could only refer to as The Thing. The Thing was a huge metal box filled with video monitors, flashing lights, colorful buttons, radio dials, antennae, flywheels, gyroscopes, shock absorbers, LEDs, and a 1030HP Rolls-Royce Merlin V-12 piston engine. Numerous maps of Ponyville, of Equestria, of the world as a whole were displayed across several monitors, and manning the whole thing was none other than Spike himself. The little dragon was wearing a heavy brown comrade trenchcoat, complete with red star lapels, and a snug fur hat atop his spines. He chewed on a stubby carrot like a cigar, and after typing a few keystrokes into The Thing, he leaned back, letting Twilight get a glimpse at the convoluted data feeds.

Artwork of that, please.

Faved and liked.

I just want to take a second here to honor your wondrous style of writing.

Pbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbtttttttttt!

... *faves*

Nice work! Had me giggling the whole way through!

Why did I never read this before.

This is the best thing you have ever written.

Ever.

:rainbowkiss:

Now I've got to take off one of the stories from my top 10 and pout this one in instead.

I LOL'd at the literary irony and toying. Somewhat random selection: "Twilight began, interrupting Rainbow Dash before she even had a chance to complete her prescribed action in the previous paragraph." Bravo author.

She got 'em.
She got 'em good.

Beware Ponyville!
