You're the second person to say that. To be honest, I wasn't even thinking of A Lethal Halloween when I wrote that. It was meant to be a comedic Noodle Incident.

Hmm... that's actually a good question. I kept them in character and this WAS given Ink Rose's seal of approval, but since it wasn't written by her, I'm not sure it would qualify as canon.
The entire inspiration for this oneshot was me thinking about those cringe-worthy scenes in so many romance movies where the shy protagonist awkwardly tries to ask the love interest out and the love interest is frustratingly oblivious. I thought it would be a hilarious twist if the love interest was only faking being oblivious just to Troll the protagonist.

And it was a nice twist. I don't mind the usual tried and true plotline, if done well, for example, Beauty and the Beast is a tale as old as time, (Yes that was on purpose) but it has been done very well, for example, Disney's version, however, it's also easy to screw it up, a certain "vampire" based series of "movies/books" comes to mind which I shall not name.

Not a problem. I know it's possible that a lot of modern internet trolls are unhappy in real life and the Internet is a way to vent, but, that's not really an excuse, there are a lot of healthier ways to try to vent. Namely, anything else. Some light hearted ribbing or just mildly annoying some people is one thing, actively being a

This was a great story. That ending was perfect.
Though the story could have been longer at the beginning and middle. The beginning could have started where TF2 Anarchy left off and Firebrand is going to try to ask Ink out. He chickens out initially and ask Dr Wolf for advice. He says ask for a second opinion leading to him asking the rest of the team for advice leading to a ton of dialogue full of comedy and references and ending with him asking Ink out.
Otherwise good job!

The jokes and heart here are quite good though I'm curious what exactly happen with this Lethal Aurora.
This story is starting to feel like a series of stories centering around TF2 Analysis but main focus is Ink Rose and Firebrand. So the story title being Asking Out Ink Rose may not be a proper title if that's the case.
Huh. Could have sworn I'd read this already. Guess not. *shrug* It was a fun read.
