Twilight has noticed something strange since becoming a princess, Luna and Discord hardly acknowledge each other's existence outside normal expected royal greetings. And Twilight is determined to find out why.
She looked just like Princess Celestia, except marred and broken. Her ceremonial barding had rusted slightly. Black streaks ran through her mane. Worst was the scar across her chest. The tarnished Celestia smiled at Luna. "H-hello, monster."
Well-trodden ground, but the lovely writing more than makes up for it. A little bit self-indulgent at times, too, but I can't really hold that against you when I'm just as guilty of it. I'd say it's a shame that so few people have read it, but I seriously doubt you gave a dang about popularity when you posted this anyway. I enjoyed it, at least.
Hey, thanks. Glad to hear that. I care about popularity and exposure as much as the next guy; we'd all love to see our stories skyrocket to the lofty places we imagine they could be when we are writing them. But this one was definitely more of an emotional thing for me, and I haven't written anything for this site in a hundred thousand years or so, so i didn't expect much.
