Friendship has some very mystical properties and can be as confusing as magic. But when you have it, you know that you can’t get rid of it without doing something extremely stupid. But when you aren’t friends with someone and they think you’ve done something extremely stupid, you’re not getting close to them. But when you’re the one thinking they’ve done it, you best wish is to get revenge (if you’re that type).

In this case, I knew she was and is guilty of almost killing me. And you know what, I am that type.

    ...   ...   ...   ...   ...

Rainbow… It was her! The one who knocked me into the psycho pony I knew as Fluttershy.  As I ran, I asked myself why I ran; maybe I should trick her into confrontation. I stopped almost instantaneously whilst she flew overhead and into the bell of the clock tower.  I laughed whilst she almost peeled off the bell, rolling off the roof. She could fall and break a bone. It was my fault.  I would regret it but on impulse alone, I jumped and bit a length of rope that hung from the back of the building. I landed and yanked on the rope. In nothing but a small miracle, the rope pulled some guttering vertical so that it acted as a barrier to stop her rolling.

I sighed in relief when hearing a groan of ‘stupid bell’ but was worried almost at once when she tried to stand and slipped off the roof, whilst she was out cold. Realising my impulses weren’t done; I dove under her to break her fall.

She landed on my back and my knees gave way but I’d caught her and she was surprisingly light. I thought of what to do. Call for help? Carry her to safety? I decided to carry her out of the alleyway I was in and into a park. I left her by the lake, so as to splash her with water to wake her up. But first, I had a drink.

‘Hey, Kid’ I looked around. No-one was there.

‘Hey. You, the one drinking.’ I looked again. No-one there, again.

‘You.’ I face suddenly appeared in front of me and, out of shock, I spat the water I was drinking. It was her.  She’d woken up.

‘Thanks,’ she said, as she used my tail to wipe herself dry, ‘but that was unnecessary. Anyways, I’m Rainbow Dash. Fastest mare in the Equestria. I’d be happy to give you a ride to Fluttershy’s. She’d be so grateful and maybe I’d get some of her famous…never mind. Hope on.’ She lowered so I could get onto her back. I shook my head at the thought and decided to run. She sounded like the type that would do anything for someone to look up to her.

‘Hey, come back. What’s wrong?’ I ran through town again, almost hitting Pinkie again. I ran right into a building whilst Rainbow Dash flew around, she laughed at me this time. I saw a chance to escape and dove through an open window. I turned and closed it to prevent her following me. I sighed as I slid down a wall.

I’d escaped or so I’d thou-

‘Oh my. Who are you? Why- Goodness, I love your coat. It’s fabulous.’
