Who knows? Don't judge a book based on it's color, I've been left speechless after reading fanfictions I'd otherwise call "over-used idea" and "stupid" just because of the start.
I tend to argue we dislike this style because it points out a very plain truth, but I agree that this kind of Setting and Plot are over-used....
However, I digress: Give it some time, and we'll see how it turns out.
