Hmn, sounds like Twilight is developing herself an ethereal mane, neat. And poor Spike, so cynical at such a young age.

Great name for the Equestrian postal service, it fits perfectly and is a great reference all in one.
You know, Tartarus is a believable postal destination, Twilight was able to take Cerberus back in a trip that couldn't have been more than a day or two long.
This is really nice. Dinky is adorable, and you've done a fantastic job describing her familial situation by showing it, not telling it.
And I love the work you've done in making the world seem full. Between Twilight's potentially ethereal mane, the CMC going off monster hunting, and the rest of it, it makes it seem more like I'm actually watching a person go through their day than reading a story. The world feel's more complete than most stories.

Hope to see how things turn out for Dinky someday. This was a truly fun story with characters that feel like they match genuinely well with the show character personalities we've seen, but with more than enough creativity to take liberties in making characters like Twist feel more less invulnerable compared to her canon counterpart, which I think is a plus.
Seriously, DT throwing in a song like that? If only she'd be given silly songs like this in the show more often. Shame everything has to be Mane 6 and CMC only (save for 100th ep this coming week) I'd love to see more stories with side characters like in this story.
This is probably the most I've read of Dinky in a Slice of Life story that didn't have me rolling my eyes at how flat and unrealistically perfect/sugary some tend to write her. It's a real nice balance so far. I'll have to check out more of 25th's world I suppose if I want to see more of this world's characters then? I'll be sure to give that one a second try.

I have the rest of this story planned out, and I want to write it. But it's a matter of finding the time right now. I'm behind on all my personal writing/helping for Bloodlord because of work. But you gotta do the thing that puts the food on the table, you know? Boo, responsibilities. Boo.
6074320 Time is truly a commodity world more than gold. If only humans didn't have to eat or poop and be fresh as newly bloomed daisies, we'd probably have more time to enjoy our hobbies and our friends more. ;P
And yes, Bloodlord's 250th. Feels like weeks since they last mentioned they sent off their latest chapter to be edited. Life is a cruel mistress. Maybe I should play the lottery some and get rich. It all sounds so simple. *sigh* If only, right?
Well, I'm at least thankful for the current drought of updates on stories. I doubt I'd a been able read stuff like https://www.fimfiction.net/story/78420/reharmony , and this little gem of a Dinky tale. I can wait for this to get its turn, it's certainly not the writer's fault we readers often faster than the content can release.
