..... we need a sequel with what Twilight sees. This concept too awesome to end here.
Wow... I never imagined a teapot being used like that...
This was hilarious, enjoy a free thumb (it's not mine, I stole it).
Imagine looking at Celestia with that.
This was pretty good!
I'd also like to see a part 2 were we see what Twilight does.
This is temporally manipulated gold! A brilliant and unique piece which showcases Colgate's 'eccentric' personality and her time-bending skills.
Yes, I definitely think we need to see what happens to Twilight! ![]()

This. Is. Awesome.
I was completely unaware of Colgate as a pony, in both manners and abilities - in short, this was my first Colgate/Berry Punch fic. Adored it!
This could stand alone, we could see what literally happens to Twilight - i'm completely satisfied either way!

This is absolutely brilliant! I need to see how Twilight responds to the secret of Ponyville and maybe Canterlot...maybe.
"The floor was a immaculate tiled checkerboard" - Does that sound right to you?
I feel eternally sorry for Berry Punch. She drinks from a punchbowl without a cup, ONCE, and this fandom turns THAT into being the town drunk?? What??
So.. EqD, then Fimfic it? Hmm, sounds like a recipe for an insta Feature... I shall remember this.
To paraphase the incomparable Mr. Simpson: "Secrets and lies! It's always secrets and lies with you ponies!
"
This is one heck of a gorgeous story.
Good story, I enjoyed it
There should be more time-bending Colgate fics. I liked how she wasn't a master of time travel but could slow time to read books and look into the recent past. Always new things to work towards this way, instead of having everything at her disposal from the outset.
Well, I wouldn't necessarily agree with Colgate about ignorance being bliss -- real problems and dangers don't just go away if you simply stick your head into the sand, and if anything that just makes it easier for them to sneak up on you.
But with her having (at least here) clearly a bit more enthusiasm than sense, I can certainly see her coming away from the experience with that aesop. At least for a little while; I'm not wholly convinced that she won't have changed her mind again already in a couple of days or so, so the 'lesson' may not stick after all. (It's not like the Cutie Mark Crusaders ever really quit, either.)
I loved what I read, especially the jokes open to interpretation (Pony + Teapot =
). I did find the story too short, though. Just the concept of the FLaSHBA-CK opens doors to so many comedic possibilities, and it feels as though we've only skimmed the surface. You could definitely write more on this by passing along the hat to other characters. I can also see poor, naive Twilight being scarred for life. ![]()
4.5/5
OKAY. I read this AGAIN and I totally think you should do a story with Twilight.
But you likely won't.
Still awesome though!
I really enjoyed this. I'm going to have nightmares about that teapot though. It would be nice if you could do a follow up story involving Twilight's adventures with the FLASHBA-CK (assuming you already haven't) but it's understandable if you don't. I feel bad for Colgate though, she was so happy and excited, and then everything was brought down around her ![]()
