Bronies... quite the interesting lot. Enthusiastic, excitable, and occasionally homicidal.
In the not-so-distant future, the government has established a specialized program for the more radical cases. Those particular individuals who had lost sense of reality and substituted it with their own. They claimed to be bronies, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Now it's Doctor Hunt's job to help oversee treatment of psychopaths, criminals, and broniacs. Welcome to Alkatrot.

Ok, what am I smoking? Oh. It's just a good dark story. Phew, I thought I'd had a nightmare...
I have to say that I was expecting something completely different... like, scy-fi story in which the government kidnaps ponies from Equestria and bring them to the human world just to experiment on them (and then we apply the reverse HiE magic here; in which a pony upon reaching Earth gains a human body).
Your writing is amazing and, besides being something I have strong prejudices against (humans in pony stories), I was completely immersed on your story. This is one of the few stories in which I read every single word. Yes, I usually skim a little through the text if the story isn't gripping enough. Not ashamed to admit it.
One thing, though: They were all crazy as fuck, I can have that; no problem here. But then, they would so blindly believe the show that they wouldn't kill unless it was completely necessary for their survival... And killing Doc. Hunt wasn't. My opinion, though.
Another thing that quite bugged me; you developed the scenes and the premise of the story very nicely. Then you start building up tension for the finale, but when the moment arrives you let that tension go like someone who lost its grip while inflating a balloon. It was a nice story, but I definitely was expecting more (even if it had no relation to what I originally though the story would be about).
Thumbs up nevertheless; you have a lot of potential.
Thanks to all of you for the comments, I really appreciate the feedback. This definitely was a side-step from my usual fare, but I think it turned out better than I expected and I'm glad you've enjoyed it.
While the story was strictly Doctor Hunt's POV, I have considered the thought of expanding this idea with sub-stories (namely, the origins of the patients and what they'll do after.) Anywho, that's for another time though while I write up some other ideas I've had.

This is absolutely frightening! To think that it would seem that we, Bronies, could become murderous psychopaths! I was not expecting the main character to die, though. Very dark ending as well. All I can say it... Excellent! Simply excellent!
