Started reading the story because I thought it was complete now I'm told it's being rewritten... But this is a good choice I was enjoying it but it could really be done better so hope this rewrite is worth the wait
-_- the original was sittin in my read later list for a month because I don't read incomplete stories for this reason cut off what I'm reading now I have to wait (but I agree this was the best thing to do I'm just impatient with reading)

Well, gave the protagonist snarky headvoices, mentioned religion in any way, didn't have perfect grammar, didn't leave the bedroom, shortened it without adding another 6000 words of description, ended on a cliffhanger, use Alucard as a user avatar, the alignment of the planets, etc. It's still way better than most stories out there, but people downvote for very minor reasons.

No need for that, just have a scene change to Ponyville where Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are marrying each other.

Anyway it was alright. You could describe the house a bit more if you want to break up Shawn and Katie's banter a bit. I really liked Shawn's reaction to the bathroom stuff being so much higher than she was used to. Also HO SHI IT'S DAAAAD
while I'm somewhat liking the new take on this story. I feel like your moving these characters back into the same groove as the old version that made them... not so likeable. in fact, katie is acting like shes 18, and dante is in college? shawn appears to be the youngest.
and while some arguments are entertaining, the sheer amount of bickering that is going on is quickly getting old.

Good. Though the interactions between his family members changed between the two stories. It's cool though. you're going about this differently which is interesting.
