Damn... it made me cry...

That was pretty damn poetic man. Felt like I was at a poetry jam, and it was interesting too but some people won't get the message. Though never the less it was a good read. We need more poetic thing's on Fimfiction. Anyways see ya around. Peace.

well sh*t

Wow, I did NOT see that ending coming.

LOVED it!

That was quite the ending, there.

One has to wonder if this is how Beethoven felt at times...

This was still a very heartbreaking read, fantastic job.

Well... damn.

I agree with 5275595— that felt like a poetry jam.

I have to admit, though: I understand what happened, but I'm not exactly sure how or why (Not the ending, the beginning— why was it necessary?). Is there no real defined answer? Or am I just overthinking things as usual and forgetting to take the story as a story?

For me, it showed there was someone who loved and supported her unconditionally. Someone who would be there when she truly realized the one thing she truly loved was gone forever, or who would hold her as she cried and keep her stable as she walked, or who would place a comforting hoof on her chest and calm her fears in her most vulnerable moments. There was never a point when she was without support, even from the very beginning.

Wow...very good job! It felt like I was Octavia...wow...just...wow

Thank you  It doesn't have as happy an ending as your story, but I worked hard on it.

I'd read this on an Octavia binge reading spree and hadn't remembered to comment on it until recently.

Thoroughly enjoyed this! Felt minimalistic, but a good kind of minimalistic. Some parts of me were a little confused at some points, but reading it again when I didn't feel completely drained of energy helped with my comprehension of what was going on.

Well written, short, and bitter. I like it.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The repetition starts getting a little grating after a while, but this is perfectly offset by the great atmosphere. Also, that ending, as predictable as it was, still hits like a punch to the stomach.

I read this twice and I don't get what happened at all. She was deafened while being tortured and killed herself because she couldn't hear music anymore?

Octavia wakes up with head trauma. She is hospitalized, but her hearing is gone. The sounds of music, both created and found naturally, are what she lived for. Her friend, Vinyl, helps keep her stable after that part of her was destroyed. Then Vinyl leaves, and she kills herself.

'It was silent' in less than 50 words.

I think it was maybe a little on the subtle side, but all those elements do at least seem to be there. Not really sure why I thought the first scene was torture. <.<

I'll try to be a little more overt about things next time ^_^;;
