For some inexplicable reason, Sollux Captor from the Homestuck Universe winds up magically bound to Rarity's back and incapable of coming off. Now it's up to Rarity's friends to find a way to separate the two and get Sollux back home, before they do something that they might regret. Like, say, becoming close friends.

And to think, if I were keeping tabs on this AND Homestuck fanfics, I'd have picked up on this so much sooner. Curse my disjointed attention span!
You probably remember me from the BtSDLb threads and epic Pesterchum hijinx. <<< Hopefully old megatronusPrime's left some impact, however tiny. >>> I did notice the Pesterchum memo I helped start was still alive the last time I went on. Which... was far too long ago. Didn't even replace PC on my new hard drive, at least not yet. But I really feel the need to catch up on the months of story I missed. On ckret's story AND on DNI (yeah, started yours too). Hell, maybe I should... drop back in, say hi, and get back into the swing of things. Yeah, actually, I think I'd like that.
Enough with me being excessively nostalgic. I have a story to read. And with such a bizarre premise, I'm wicked excited. I mean, really; Sollux in Ponyville, stuck to Rarity. There's no way it WON'T end well. And now I have the mental image of what would happen if Karkat had to deal with Pinkie Pie. Oh, I love stories that give me fun mental pictures. I'm practically bleeding anticipation right now; I'm dropping everything else and storming right in! Allons-y!

And now that I've actually read this story: I love it. I'm serious. This isn't the only Homestuck crossover I've read on here, but this does predate Ponystuck by a month or two. And I can say I've had the privilege of exchanging dialogue with the authors of BOTH Homestuck stories I've read here, though one in the past and one at present.
This take is a more interesting one, though. Almost like a human-in-Equestria story, but of course Sollux isn't human. And Alternia and troll society are more of a hellhole than than what we've got here, and certainly more than what the ponies have under Celestia's rule. And as I was typing, I realized this concept then got used for Rorschach in Equestria, even further down the line than Ponystuck was in terms of first post date... but still, a crossover where characters interact and develop with each other is a beautiful one indeed.

Okay, so, 1.) I am absolutely loving this so far and (disregarding the fact that I haven't read the third chapter yet) I sincerely hope you keep this up and I can't wait for more. 2.) Thank you very much for the Lion King reference. I almost feel like I'm the only one who noticed it. Hopefully I'm not the only one who got it, though, because it was absolutely beautiful.
