Interesting, but the ending left me a little confused. Could you PM the basic idea behind it? This story is well-written, so I'd like to understand it better.

[spoiler for the whole shebang be here, ye comment scrubbers] Essentially it's just that Pinkie Pie's apparently from a lineage of ghost/monster/spirit hunters (with Granny Pie being the most recent bearer of the burden), carrying on said tradition in her spare time.
