And Chrysalis took over quickly because: A. She has done this three times now, she kinda knows what she's doing. and B. Half of the Elements of Harmony were away. That's less security at the castle and it would have been easier for the changelings and the Queen to take over. I mean, if they could take down all six of them, three would be a cakewalk.

this is in my pondering what i think will happen next.Chrysalis finds out vauge was one of the elements of conflict and lots of stuff happens and during while all this stuff happens frostbite runs away.
