I really hope the story touches on something like this. That would be awesome.
I am officially intrigued.
Very interesting. Having such a sharp contrast between the loveable Fluttershy and the ruthless Fluttershy. We all know she's gentle and kind.
But we've also seen tendencies for her to be assertive. The gala insident, the stare, and the lessons from Iron Will. All indicators of her inner resolve. But that to makes sence. Could she truly be a guardian if she was submissive to everything? No she has her own inner strength.
Having her take the next step like in this story is very interesting. Reminds me of the Dark Knight Batman. Sometimes you can't be the hero everyone wants, sometimes you need to be the monster. I think Fluttershy would understand this quite well.
Anywho looking forward to reading more

I like this chapter, but I have one problem with it: Rainbow Dash is too mean spirited. Doing that directly to Fluttershy? I don't think so. I can buy she'd make some dark jokes at the picnic, but I don't know. She just seemed a bit too rude (especially considering this is after Hurricane Fluttershy) and a bit of a klutz, based on her accidently throwing half the pieces of the board game out the window. Also:

Am I the only one who saw that twist coming? It's a good twist, but I got some vibes of "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights?" As soon as Fluttershy entered her home.

Holy Jesus Motherfucking Crisco! I stop reading your work for a few months, and I come back to this goddamn statement of literature! Creating the best villain development of the least/most likely character since Breaking Bad, changing her to something grimdark writers have been failing at attempting for years now, all staying arguably in-character! If your previous work is doing right what most people do wrong with Slenderman crossovers, than this is doing right what everyone does wrong with darkfics (that aren't horror) in general.
But then that cliffhanger. Whoo!
I'd say I wish I'd waited longer, but then I'd be depriving myself. You need to write some real books. Guaranteed best-sellers. All the books. Like hot-cakes. Sweet, moist, hot-cakes. Mmmm.
