That was a great read! I loved the part where Luna realized that Starswirl passed down the knowledge in such a clever way, I had a suspicion of him knowing Night Magic, but didn't think too much on it. Good show!

The battle between Discord and Twilight was very intense, and did good job of showing that Discord is both just as silly and dangerous as he should be, and I think the lesson Luna taught her new student is a good one to learn. Almost wishing that she had learned that before the whole "Eternal Night" incident.

Nothing noted for real spelling errors, because I spent more of my focus on the story then anything else, but I did see one thing that stood out.

Princess Luna blushed a bit. “It...may be something we disguised as we read over your letters together.”

And I see what you did there with Blueblood. Making a blog post for what we want to see first when I dare say you have your sights set on Blueblood being haunted! Sneaky writer!

The epilogue didn't exactly surprise me with Trixie being involved, but the fact she started with 50 students is glorious! Can't wait to see where you take Luna teaching an entire room of students, and I am really curious to how Trixie handles the last test of Luna.

Again, a wonderful read and I can't wait to see whatever part you're bringing up next.

Well, guess Blueblood's haunting is going to be very, very, fun to read.

I feel Luna's way is the bettr way in this case. I think Celestia would be pretty harsh on a pony that hit another pony like that too though.

I think this would definitely benefit from a revision of the description for your story. Not only is your shortest story (so far) a decent, chewy size for an introduction, but the description gives no feeling or hint of the personality that you've put into your writing, nor the life you breath into Luna as a character. It's an injustice for you to misrepresent such a wonderful piece of work from yourself, and I will not stand for such travesty. Metal Squirrel Chaos, I beseech you to undo the harm you have inflicted upon poor, innocent Metal Squirrel Chaos's story!

Yes, really enjoyed that chapter.

I see that there are three types of Luna's that can usually be seen in fanfics.

The first one is the meek and shy Woona (like at the end of the first season pilot), much like Fluttershy.

The second one is an arrogant, cold and distant Luna. The one that doesn't really seem to be free of Nightmare's influence and can't be trusted.

And my favorite - the third one - is this! Wild, unpredictable, funny and uncontrollable Luna - the real Mistress of the Night. I'd really like to see more fanfics with Luna being like that :)
