They're going to run out of ammo and fuel before long, and then the tank is completely useless. Soon after that, they run out of bullets. Then they're no better than any other pony, except they have more fighting experience.

Also, I'm holding off on rating until I know if it's historically accurate, as far as the actions of Patton, his crew, and how the tank is operated are concerned.

Then, maybe I'll read it. Still, skeptical.

If the Tiger II is there along with them and still hostile, they are pretty well doomed. The Tiger II outclasses any tank of the era fielded by anyone save for the IS/JS series of tanks (maybe). That 88 will hole them from front to back and their 76mm gun, despite being a major improvement from the 75mm in armor penetrative capabilities, doesn't have a hope in hell of penetrating any of the Tiger II's armor save for the back turret and the back of the hull itself.

As you can see I'm a rather large tank enthusiast and I will follow your story closely ^^

Okay I just spotted a few historical errors. The first is that unless this is a M4A3E8 the gun would be 75mm not 76 and yes there is a big difference.

Second the only unit on the western front equipped with Tiger IIs before the Battle of the Bulge was the 1st Company of the 503rd Heavy Tank Battalion and their area of operation was near the French town of Caen. (Which was a British combat sector.) Where most of their Tiger II's were wiped out during Operation Goodwood, in Early July 1944. So the odds of Patton running into a Tiger II are remote at best and non existent at worst. In my opinion you would be better using a Tiger I instead of the Tiger II.  

Other than that the stories good so far. Gonna see where she goes.

I'm glad the Sherman's dinky pea-shooter wasn't able to penetrate the Tiger. I would have had to yell at you if they got a penetrating hit from any direction other than a close range straight shot on the rear. Onto the next chapter!

So, what happened to the King Tiger? They had the purple fire too...

My god, there's a King Tiger running around in Equestria. Well, for about two hours, then they run out of fuel.

That Shermans gas tanks must be getting awfully low by now. Unless they have some Jerry cans strapped to the rear deck. Even then it won't be long before their out of gas too.
