This story brought me to tears...
For almost a year now, I have been feeling just like Silver Flame. Except I was even more lost then he was because I didn't know how to even explain or describe the way I was feeling to people. Now because of this story, I know the right words to use when explaining my feelings.
What celestia said helped put it into perspective for me as well.
I know your life hasn't been going well lately either, so if you need someone to talk to, just remember that I am here and I will always listen to what you have to say, no matter what it is.

That is a beautiful story. You handled Celestia very well, both in that she would care enough to try to help Silver Flame, and in not forgetting that she has an important life and responsibilities beyond helping one depressed Guard. Though, being Celestia, she would try to help him -- I think the thing she'd likeliest do long-term was try to steer some other Ponies likely to befriend him in his direction. Celestia is a social manipulator -- but a very kindly one.
