Rainbow Blitz. The name has instilled fear and dread into the sailors of Seaquestria for years. Applejack meets her as she's returning from selling cider, and by that it should be understood that she fought and lost and was taken prisoner. Now surrounded by crazy pirates, Applejack has only one objective: Escape.
Even if she has to pretend to love her captor.

Its a shame this story doesn't have more likes and follows than it does. Its teeth-rottingly cute, and the whole "Seaquestria" concept is a brilliant AU setting. I may have to borrow the idea for future fics.

Fantastic story. One thing though - Applejack cringes when she assists in piracy, but not when Octavia kills the enemy captain? I had gotten the impression that Rainbow and her crew were lovable rascals, but not cutthroats.

Applejack didn't see that part; she was still on deck (and I don't think Rainbow saw, either). As for Octavia... she has a bit of a history.
