They're pony folktales. I figure that's just the pony name for their planet.
Yes! I was hoping you'd do a sequel! And now we're getting more stories as well! Can't wait to read more like this!
What a beautiful little tale!
Filly Twilight is incredibly endearing, I loved her nitpicking about the workload of the god of death, that feels so much like Twi.
And again, the not-so-subtle hint that it is more a romanticised account of the truth than a pure fiction.
Cadence snatched her beloved from the jaws of the underworld.
I love stories which exploit the uniqueness of the mlp settings, with immortal beeings walking the earth. Many legends and myths are bound to be recollection of true ancient events of which Celestia, Luna or Cadence were either witness or protagonist.
Please, continue this story!
Ooooh, the Pony of Shadows?
Oooh! Damn, I did not see the ending coming. I thought it would have been Sombra what with the ruthless king thing going on. I love these kinds of stories, with a little background on one shot characters and the princesses.
I love the idea of pony myths and folklore. I hope you continue this sometime.
Have you considered making folklore of how the pegasus ponies tamed the clouds, or how the different pony tribes got their magic?
