i loved the ad jokes wiz and boom made before the show went to screwattack.

Hilarious. I knew this would be the end result between the two.

Literary Death battles? Never thought I'd see the day.

For pointing out flaws, I'd say it was too short and Deadpool was entirely reliant on his MvC3 incarnation without branching out into his other appearances. Seeing as Deathbattle has a tendency to convert the most obscure aspects of a character, that may not have ever been intended for the use of combat, or had only appeared in a single game\ cartoon\ movie or whatever, and then use that aspect in the most awesome way imaginable... It kinda stuck out.

Other than that, it was entertaining and everybody was in character, especially W and B, so good job there.

Wow... I'm glad I set my expectations low for the number of favorites and positive feedback I've gotten on this.

It kind of didn't help that I didn't grow up in the comic age.  So applying more of Deadpool's quirky traits would have been hollow at best.  But yes, over-analyzing is funny... and informative.

ummm... imo we have had no proof that Trixie could do something as Grand as summon an Ursa Major, and she definitely wouldn't be able to control it if she did, and if she could send something like that away she could have easily have sent the Ursa Minor away in Boast Busters so in effect she just unleashed something she has no control over. Heck Twilight probably couldn't summon an Ursa Minor with magic and she is far superior to Trixie in that field. In the death battle spirit they don't usually give characters powers that they never have shown to be able to do or have the power to do, and that Ursa is definitely highly outside of the skills of a Canon Trixie, especially when keeping in mind that she stated in the episode itself that she never defeated an Ursa Major, so that rumour (which she started) was false. It is unlikely she could have beat the duel monsters without such a thing. I guess it is possible that she could use illusions to deceive and  get in a finishing blow, but that isn't the most likely outcome. I haven't even watched Yugioh in years and have no idea who sayer is, so this isn't getting mad at a fan favorite dying or anything, just pointing out that giving Trixie such powers greatly invalidates this death battle in my opinion

I've been putting off reading this for a bit, sorry that I did. You've got it down pretty well, it's like reading a real DeathBattle, nicely done :)

That said, a suggestion for a fight might be Cutie Mark Crusaders vs. Oogie Boogie's henchmen (Lock, Shock, and Barrel, and for powers, maybe include the Kingdom hearts version of some of their stuff).

I love DEATH BATTLE, and this is  It could easily be an actual episode.

really the hulk vs any my little pony character, but Celestia seem like the one to make the fight worthwhile or at least hold her own for more then ten seconds.

Well, check this out, first to comment on the newest battle, sweet. Nice going, the fight went pretty well, glad you liked my idea. I like how smoothly the fight flowed, I personally have a hard time when it comes to writing action sequences of lengths that long, so you have my admiration there.

But now it is time for constructive criticism   While I know it's your style to keep things short, I think you skipped a few things that could have made this battle a little better. Most importantly how in the movie Lock, Shock, and Barrel have a cash of weapons they have at hand (knives, maces, and also a cannon that they like to use), also that they caught the Easter Bunny initially, so there has to be something said for their speed, or cunning. And as for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, I think something should be said for how Sweetie Bell can make even the simplest things explode when she tries to manipulate them.

Whilereading the first comment I came up with something, GIYGAS VS. DISCORD, I know you already got rid iof him but Giygas is more the embodyment of chaos and it would be a choatic battle.

If it was anywhere, I think it was the second time the CCC had an episode specifically around them, blast if I can't remember the name, but I think you may be right, I may have just slogged off from my memory of some other fanfic, but the whole group does have a propensity for things to go horribly wrong in the most eye catching of ways, especially when they yell out what idea they are going to do to try out their next cutie mark, like when they decided to be fashionistas and they all found their way to needle and thread in Rarity's shop and had all become able to add least stitch something together in a holdable fashion. I've tried my hand at needle work and the such, and it is most certainly quite difficult to accomplish, even with hands, so some small burst of talent seems to be given to them, which might be passively derived from their inherently magical environment as they don't officially have their cutie marks yet..... wow, I think  I'm more of a brony than I thought I was. not sure if I feel or about that.

Chapter 10 kind of turned into a plot device for "the narrator".

I don't think he'll be messing with "the director" again for some time.  

So yeah.  Maybe someday I'll redo this battle properly.
