Cadence seems likely for a couple of reasons, please correct me if I'm wrong:

Rules Canterlot - Alicorn Princess of Canterlot

Older Mare - Alicorns are immortal and she would look young no matter how old

Saddle Arabia + Luna - She knows about arrangements for Celestia's death

But I might be wrong, for a few reasons too:

No Special Somepony - Cadence has Shining Armor

Gold Digger - I hardly think that Cadence would be short of money as a Princess

Rarity maybe with the mine cart being a subtle hint from her temporary enslavement by the diamond dogs.

If you think about it they have known who the BOSS was for a while and I doubt that they would shoot her out of a canon or any other thing Pip has made that would hurt, and the only pony that they have been nice to is Twilight.

And everything in this chapter would if it was Twilight, besides the gold digger thing... and the 'lady' thing... a-and the, "Better younger than older I always say." thing.

... As I said, as REALLY unlikely as it is, I say it's Twilight.

I'm going with Fleur de Lis.  The pink text fits with her colour scheme, just as the green text fits Chrysalis'. The hints seem to fit her best.  Its definately not Cadence ... the whole gold-digger thing does not fit, not to mention she has a special stallion in her life.

True, but they have tore everypony a new one that has been on the show (besides Cadance but she doesn't fit at all).

Really there are only two options,

1- It's somepony that hasn't been on the show.

2- Overlord-Flinx didn't plan this until recently and will roughly tie this into the story. As in wont take into account them tearing the BOSS a new one before this (doubtful).

One of the main reasons I pick Twilight is because she's smart enough to play along with it to throw off suspicion that it's her, but I could say that about any of the Princesses, hell even Sweetie Belle.

My money's still on Faust.

If you ask me, the pink doesn't really seem to fit Twilight.  I find a lot of suggestions plausible at least in some points, but then other things sort of throw us off the scent.  The author is probably doing all he can to drag this out so that we get hooked and keep reading.

I've never understood where people got that idea. If she was married to Fancy Pants, why wasn't she at the garden party with him? I think Fleur de Lis and Fancy Pants were just on a date and she happens to be clingy (possibly because she was with the most eligible bachelor in Canterlot).

The one thing about this is that you guys are thinking too Canon, maybe it's an OC, if it is completely Canon then it's Celestia's mother is secretly still running Canterlot. All speculation though
