When Sweetie Belle is out of town, the remaining two Crusaders are left with nothing to do besides hanging out with their favourite adult ponies. Unfortunately, all Rainbow and Applejack want is to be alone together.
They're not above being manipulative to get what they want, however, and they figure that getting the young pair to engage in a few friendly competitions will be good for them, too.

5091726 That's my headcannon for RD flying all the time! Inverse seasickness (or skysickness, I guess...). I had the opportunity to go on several boats whilst i was on holiday and it was as weird readjusting to the ground as it was adjusting to being on a rocking boat.

I just liked the idea that a pegasus who is so graceful and awesome in the air would find standing still a difficult task, and when I found myself wobbling all over the place after a short boat trip... well, that settled it.
