Tomato Sandwich, a relatively low-key college student. Frugal and sensible, with a penchant for sarcasm and casual indifference to any weirdness that comes his way, he's simply content with having a mostly normal life.
Imagine Pinkie Pie's surprise when she learns that not only are these two stallions brothers, but they seem to hate each other. Thinking that their current relationship just won't do, she attempts to get them to mend their brotherly bond, hoping that they would be the "Best Brother Buddies" she knows they could be.
Now if only they would cooperate.

I hear you on writing all of the Mane Six at once. I think you did fine; it seemed like a section from Crystal Empire or any of the other episodes where all of them plan something together. You can tell the show writers have a very hard time with this, too. I often feel as though I'm checking off a list and making sure everyone said something. That's why I cheat and sometimes have one of them doing something so that they aren't speaking, like Rarity reading a fashion magazine, but that wouldn't work here.

I think the Mane Six are fine here, you don't have to worry too much! (I've never written an MLP fanfic, so I'm not very experienced.) It's nice to see some story progression though!
Mane six at some form of gathering? Yup, that's difficult to write. Especially with Fluttershy. Most of the time, she remains quiet and says something really small at one point. Makes you question if her presence is actually required. But yeah, I don't think it's any easy feat.
But now stuff is about to go down! Let's see where these sandwiches take this.

I really loved your setup for this one and can't wait to read more. Writing dialogue for the mane 6 together is insanely difficult (I generally split them up because I'm lazy). If I'm being honest, it was a little rough and out of character at times (Rainbow speaking too formally for example). Maybe look that over some more? I'd be happy to offer some more detailed feedback later if that would help. Though, you still did amazingly well with the scene you had to work with. I'm curious to see how this encounter with Tomato will go. Maybe Pinkie will break it up before it escalates? If they fight, do they throw their respective foods? That would be amusing to say the least. Thanks for posting!

What do you mean Cheese isn't in character? If he had a sibling rivalry, this is exactly how I'd see him acting! Sure, the most he's been like this was before the goof-off when he was challenged, but this is personal to him on a bigger level. That stuff really runs deep. Given he and Tomato have known each other for years and gone through many times together, especially with Cheese running away, I'd be thinking that Cheese would have every right to hate Tommy. For all those years, he hated how he felt Tommy was better and all that. He can have enemies, is all I'm saying. Actually, if anything, it's more scary that Cheese is more in-character.
But I wasn't expecting such... words between the pair. I don't get along with my brother at times, like most siblings, but these two are mortal enemies. I went bug-eyed at points just reading what they said. Let's hope Pinkie really does know what she's doing.

Though, if Cheese had a brother in my headcannon they'd probably fight too. I did notice some problems with the dialogue. Mainly that there were parts of the chapter where it was nothing but dialogue exchange. It'd probably be better to break it up with some actions/descriptions as it's hard to read through all that dialogue without a break. Getting away from that, I really adore the way you write Pinkie. You've got a better grasp on her personality than I do (my overly serious nature gets in the way of silly stuff). I grinned when I read her parts because they were so in character!

personaly i can understand the frustration, have had friends trying to solve family issues they knew nothing about before.
I've said this before, but I'll say it again. Pinkie Pie is a temptress with her eyes. That pout in A Friend In Deed is a good example of it. She just... attracts with those shades of blue. I don't blame Cheese for not being able to refuse them. But it's finally reached the point where they've all realised that it's getting way out of hand. Here's hoping they'll sort it out. How did the party cannon set the candy on fire? I was thinking it would have been something that belonged with Tommy that dropped in there are some point, leading to yet another argument. But, it was just a malfunction I guess. Nifty. Also, now I really want a monster wagon rally fic.

It is great to be getting this straight from Cheese's mouth--and from FiM Cheese, at that. You really brought the heartwarming here. It's bad enough when there's not much of a close bond to begin with. I always assume that Rarity is so much older than Sweetie that there's a bit of a barrier there. But here it's actually that they loved each other a lot, and that's very sad.
