A very good short story. you got the point across in a sweet, sad manner that I feel really embodied the way Spike would have reacted to being let down.

A lovely little fic. Well writin, even though it is short. I'm still in cahoots with spikes "It takes a village" ship, but i would say that this little fic could very easily be worth expanding, even if just for 2 or 3 more chapters. Just give it a thought. You have a thumbs up from me either way.

When he's all grown up, Spike likely won't be looking at ponies as anything other than talking animals with super short lifespans. He'll be wanting a hot dragoness to give him lots of cute little whelps, someone he can actually be with for thousands of years. Or, if he really does stay into ponies, I always did like picturing Luna and Spike together. She just seems like the kind of girl who would go for a dragon.
