Also, for Twilight, might I suggest either Cheerilee or Doctor Whooves? Egghead love is so adorkable.
And Rarity and Thunderlane compliment each other well, at least in coat color, and Fluttershy is cute with Bulk Biceps or one of the Spa twins.

Haven't read it yet, but I'm just going to say now that it's Hearth's Warming Eve, not Hearts Warming Eve.
Is her heart cold because she is bitter about it? Is it because she doesn't have a snuggle mate even if it is platonic like Rarity and Fluttershy? Or is it because she feels that there will be no special somepony? I don't see the connection, unless it was purposeful for another chapter.

4898218 don't worry, I plan on making a story for each ship. In fact my spikebelle one is already up Macdash is next.
Oddly enough, the biggest problem with this story is its biggest strength. You spend a good chunk of the time describing other ponies relationships, but not really that of the main character. But I actually think that works for when the tragic reveal is shown.
On another note, I actually liked the pairings. While I'm not favoriting this story, I will most definitely check out these new stories that go in depth to their relationships. I feel you've got enough talent to really bring these relationships to life.
