Everything is not what it seems in Equestria. Twilight wakes up one day and comes to realize this soon enough. She has lived her entire life through lies and illusions. Queen Chrysalis is behind it all and Twilight must find a way to combat this horrible entity and her minions as well. All the while fighting the thoughts inside her head questioning her existence and her current situation. Will Queen Chrysalis win or will it be Twilight's thoughts in the end that make her crack from the stress of it all?
