My name is Whisper. I am a pegasus, living in a city far to the west. Only trouble is, the city is overrun by zombies. My sister, a unicorn named Spellspark, has managed to put a protective "dome" over the city, keeping the zombies from getting out to other parts of the world. She was able to make pendants for the both of us, creating a protective barrier over our bodies so we can't get infected by them. But the thing is, we can't leave the city without taking down the dome. Everyday we scour the city, looking for any supplies we can find, hoping we can survive just a little longer. It became normal for us. But my life changed...Just a little...When a hunter pounced on me.
(I should note there is some swearing, so walk away if you don't like swearing)
Allright! Let's get started!
First of all, cover art is cute, so points to that!
Second, the characters are decently enjoyable and connectable, and the touches of humor certinly help! Plus another point!
Third, the obvious influince is obvious, but not specifically played out despite zombie types. I neither give nor take away points.
The cutsie interaction between the main characters (especially with Zero) definitely gains a point!
The chapter leangths are great! Hope you keep them up! Point added!
And last, just this premise alone seams great! And the little wink at the use of the word 'pounce' made me giggle.
As of right now, you have 5/6 points, in all a decent fic that could, with plenty of effort, zoom into my all time faves! (Extra Credit: .2 point!)

I've noticed a few general spelling errors, but unfortunately it's late and I'm from my phone!
Glad that your keeping to around 1k chapter leangths, a good set, though with the amount of time you'll want to work on the characters I must advise that you try to detail it out to 1500 or even 2000 for more cuteness, and general interaction to happen, though I understand that's plenty hard enough at 1000!
Great chapter, cuteness from Zero is ghonna make my wee little heart go puff if you up the antie!

Ok, so I'm writing a fic that is similar to yours. You could call it my re-imagining of HungergamesThelastofusThescorchtrials mashup with traces of Left 4 Dead, Maximum Ride, and some other contagion thing.
Anyway, the thing is, I think I could use some inspiration from your so-far-novel-worthy fic, and, as a new(ish) writer, possibly learn a thing or two!
