Yay! Another Twilestia story!
But I gotta say, I don't understand why women (mares I guess, in this instance) are always so obsessed with losing weight. Even the ones who really shouldn't lose weight. 90% of men like curves, not toothpicks, and I'm pretty sure the same applies to lesbians. I just sincerely hope that in the end Twilight decides she likes curvy Celestia rather than anorexic Celestia.
That wasn't really a criticism of the story, though, just a general observation. As for the first chapter, really good so far! Keep it up!

society pressure from both woman who think your ugly if your not skinny as hell, and from guys who only like woman who look beautiful as skinny toothpicks. Some people are shallow, and society only talks about the 'pretty' people in magazines and TV and whatever.

working out doesn't really help you to lose weight. You would have to work out like 4 hours a day hard to make any difference at all and still it's just 4 out of 24 hours.
Celestia needs a diet if she wants to lose weight.

And it turns out that twilight was wrong and that she and all the other princesses are too skinny compared to Celestia.

I'm torn between two ideas for how it'll end right now:
a) Twilight decides some junk in the trunk is hot and Celestia stops caring about her weight.
b) They all realize because Celestia is so much taller she's probably just proportional

A temporary decrease in caloric and fat intake is only effective until you stop dieting. Proper weight loss is best achieved with a combination of increased, regular physical activity, and a change of one's diet to include fewer total calories per day while reducing the frequency of consuming fattening foods. These changes need to be permanent if the results are to last more than a few months.

excising on a treadmill won't increase muscle. But other than that detail you're right. You need a permanent change to your diet to really do anything.
It also makes me curious as to how much Celestia would actually weigh. 500 kilo maybe?

If we assumed she was around the same height as an average light riding horse that would put her about 5 feet tall at the withers (15 hands). A light riding horse might average about 500 kilo (~1,100 lbs) or a bit less for that size. Except that by actual horse proportions, Celestia is anorexic to the extreme. Unless she was hyper dense [insert sun's mass joke], she'd probably weigh considerably less than that. Further assuming that her proportions aren't entirely stylized, she's not nearly as long (torso) as a horse her size should be. I'd place her somewhere around 200 - 250 kilo, assumptions in mind.
