Sweetie Belle has a really huge crush on one of her very best friends, but there's just one problem: they're both fillies.
Rarity, being a noble unicorn, is unable to cope with the fact that her sister wants to spend her life in any way other than in a traditional marriage with a rich stallion, and will go to all lengths to stop them from being in love. Sweetie Belle will have to find the courage to tell her friend how she really feels. Many problems will arise, but Sweetie won't let any of them stand in the way of her love.

The only thing that irks me a little about this fic is the severity of Rarity's reaction.

And then you see Rarity with a serious dissaproving look watching them from behind a nearby tree. Then theres applejack with an approving look watching through the barn door.
Ill leave it to to see if you can get the joke.
it felt a tiny bit rushed, but i felt that sometimes it's ok to rush things, since life itself can sometimes happen really fast.
"I'll love you forever..." seems a bit much, but childhood crushes often are. I'd dial back rarities ooc-ness if I were you.
Yeah, like some of the other readers, I didn't particularly care for homophobic Rarity. Among other things, there's plenty of other reasons for her to object. If you still want her to be a bad person, Rarity's a snob who doesn't want her sister to marry a commoner. A Rarity that is meant to be sympathetic to the audience, on the other hand, may believe she's genuinely protecting Sweetie Belle from starting down a path that can only end in heartbreak (though my fondness for that one might just be due to it being one I used for myself). Maybe Apple Bloom did something to make Rarity mad, or maybe it's Sweetie Belle that Rarity wants to punish, Possibilities are endless.
