I particularly like Neon's bit of Rubber Duck Debugging - that is, his talking out his problems to an inanimate object. It works, I've done it, and it made me chuckle.

Hey, someone else wrote a Vinyl/Neon/Octavia story. Why doesn't Neon get more love?
Really like this take on Octavia. Like I said before, great job with the character. I won't spoil anything, but I can say at least this is a nice change of pace.

You basically hooked my interest with Octavia's character in this fic. I love it so much.
Now this is a good premise. The kind of premise that your like "Fuck, why did it take years for someone to realize this? What the hell guys?"

Though oddly enough, I think it could have stood to be longer.
This is a problem I see sorta weirdly often in fimfiction, but I was expecting more of the story you outlined in the summary, and instead what I got was that the summary amounted to little more than minimal background context to frame the smut. We're told by the summary that all this stuff happened before the story started, and then the story starts with Neon already on his way to the threesome he was summoned for by the phone call we never got to see, as if that summary takes the place of actual setup and excuses the lack of it actually being in the story. Now in your case it's not as bad as I've seen, because you do refer to things said in the summary, in bits and pieces throughout the story, but it still felt like the summary wasn't really telling us what the story was about so much as laying down a few contextual facts as background to help us understand the scenario.
Which isn't to say that what the actual story turned out to be isn't good - it's really solid, in fact! - but it still leaves the story feeling a little lacking, because the summary implied that the story would be exploring all this history and backstory between the characters, all culminating at last in this threesome relationship. And instead we just skipped to the threesome part. Which, again, wasn't bad at all, but it definitely left me wishing there had been more time spent exploring the characters before entering bone-town.
Feels weird to say I wish a nearly-20k smutfic was LONGER, but what can I say, I love porn with plot.
Great job otherwise though, really.

Neon Lights is the fan-name for a pony who's officially named Rising Star. This is his wiki page.
He has also had a speaking role or two in the show, most notably in When the Sweetie Belle Tolls.
I don't like the name Rising Star, though. It doesn't fit him as well to me. I hope this clears up your confusion.

4548476 I know how to spell "freedom", mon ami, it was a name I used to run back in my days of 6v6 competitive in Team Fortress 2. The name has specific meaning to me, not to you, and seeing as how I called you out for ignorance of the community, and your only response was how my name does not meet the requirements of being spelled properly, I feel that you should take into consideration how not to come off as an ass. Of course, taking into consideration on how "TittySparkles", "RainbowBob", "IRpony", "ClopperNumber42" and "CarcinoGeneticist" are not spelled properly, the first two having every single right to "lecture" you about your stupidity when it comes to things within the community, the spelling of a username, which should be important to the individual, not to everyone else, need not be correct.

Noticed a bit of a continuity issue. Vinyl goes from being suprised by her (incorrect) assumption that Neon is a virgin in the third chapter to having actually had sex with him before in later chapters.

Not bad. Too many adjectives and a bit telly, but not bad. A couple of things, though.
First, you don't capitalise after a semicolon, only a period.
Second, if you're going to use technical terminology, make sure you do it right. What you're looking for here is mili, micro, nano, or if you really want to exaggerate, mili, nano, atto. What you have written is meaningless at best, and completely opposite of what you're trying to say at worst (aka, billions of seconds instead of billionths of a second).
