Caisius

Hello there! I'm Caisius, and I dabble in storytelling. I hope you enjoy my works!

Based off the animation "Memories" by Nutrafin.
_______________

Memories hold many strengths and weaknesses. They are the keys to unlocking inner potential, and for Twilight that is no different. During her most helpless hour, she is visited by many ghostly memories of experiences that forged one of her strongest bonds. Through them, she is able to find the strength to carry out her duty and stand by her friend's side in his time of need.

But is she too late?

And there was one final thing he gave me: a miracle .

This end ... I have not been able to contains my tears. :fluttercry:

First I was like :raritycry: But then I was like :pinkiehappy:
Good story.

I have not read this story yet but I already can tell that it is sad hopefully it is good:pinkiesmile:

Man... I don't think a pony image or even an emoticon would do it justice and not look goofy, so I'll just go by words alone:
Words can't say how touching this was. I didn't cry, by my chin quaked one hell of a lot, and the ending... I don't think I've ever smiled this wide.

Definitely and wholeheartedly approved, faved and upvoted.

I cried like a man

Good story. This reminders me of the ending to "Lilo and Stitch 2" Stitch Has A Glitch!

Now you show Spike all the love he deserve, Twilight!:moustache::twilightsmile:

Wow. Just...wow. And, yes, you did the video justice.:pinkiesad2:

0/10 wouldn't read again. He wouldn't accept my version of the ending.

The grammar was excellent compared to a lot of recent fics. The story was a little "telly" at times, but in all this was an excellent interpretation of the video. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Darn it now, I've got liquid pride all over the place.

You did a excellent job portraying the tension between "I need to be here" and "I can't stand to be here". I hope it wasn't from to personal experience.

So...beautiful....

I normally feel like I'm horrible with endings. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

4579418
Haha, thanks! Nothing like making someone sad and then happy.

4581804
Well, once you do get a chance, I hope you will leave a comment and tell me if you enjoyed it! :twilightsheepish:

4582043
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate the support.

4582075
Certainly nothing wrong with that!

4582305
I honestly can't remember ever watching that film, which is weird since I loved the first movie...

I'm sure Twilight will treasure her moments with Spike from now on.

4582425
That's all I could hope for!

4582577
Sorry for not making Spike a Sombra-like vampire, wasn't where I wanted to go with the story. :twilightoops:

4583161
Hah! Take that, Captain America!

4584071
Thanks! I do agree that it was more "telly" than I'd like, but writing in the first person can be difficult at times. I'm just unused to it. I'll probably go back and try to fix some problem areas soon!

4584624
Well, not personal experience based on this exact situation... I have lost loved ones, so I kind of know that mindset. Definitely not fun...

4585735
I'm glad you think so!

4586315 I will when I get the chance to read it

good story. Got the liquid pride going there :fluttercry: Thumbs up x 100

And this is why I stopped reading 'Sad' rated stories from this fandom.

This was such a touching and beautiful story. The ending was the best. It was just so relieving.

Man why you always gotta be so sad man?...

Oh wait, the machines were off because he was fine? Or did he just sorta open his eyes after he already died? :twilightoops:

4588542
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

4592723
I hope that means it was effective at being a sad story! If so, I hope you at least enjoyed it!

4593285
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

4601401
I'm glad you think so! I try my best to put quality into my work. I'm not perfect, but I think I'm getting better.

When I write, I rarely rewrite entire scenes. The ending for this story was one of the exceptions. I'm glad it turned out to your liking!

4601512
I'll give a serious answer: I use writing as an outlet to release emotions—a getaway, perhaps. I'd be lying if I said I had a happy childhood... I write these stories to relieve some of those experiences, and they've mostly been sad so far. Don't worry, though, I do have plans for happier or funnier stories!

4655169
Honestly, it's however you wish to interpret it! :twilightsheepish:

4658017 we did good sir, we sure did....

4658017 still loved it though...

4658017 also have you seen that one sfm animation someone made about this story?

4659142 I'm glad you did!

4659151 Not sure if trolling or serious.

4659151
The animation by Nutrafin? Yeah... this story is actually based off of it. It came first.

4660415 then my compliments to the both of you.

I hate to ruin your fun, but please take the conversation to PMs. I deleted your comments so they wouldn't take up all the comments section. :facehoof:

please post an epilogue or a sequel!!! please! :fluttercry:

4667081
Only time will tell if I decide to make a sequel to this. At the moment, though, I'm not currently working on anything.

Too touchy-feely! I love reading sad fics because of the well-drawn out story to them and this almost made me go into tears. No kidding! You sure did the video justice I salute you!

THE ENDING.
Very good, my only complaint is the reasoning behind his near death. Why? WORLD OF MAGIC, ZECROA, and the list goes on...

4676077
It's a hard thing to write in a world of magic. But looking back on episodes where it's simple food poising, ponies were sick and magic didn't instantly heal them. I had to assume that magic cannot cure everything. And when it's a rare disease for a species that I'm assuming isn't very well known, I can only guess it would be difficult to find a cure, whether it's with magic or not.

Hopefully that's a sufficient answer to your question.

4658017 No. It actually means the complete opposite. Like most of the self proclaimed 'Sad' fanfics from this fandom (including the Spanish speaking part of the fandom might I add), this is a very hollow and superficial attempt of a Sad Story, that 99% of the readers seems to love for some reason.

4676959
Well, I'm sorry you feel that way. Thanks for reading all the same.

The feels man, SOO MUCH FEELS. :fluttercry:

*Claps so loud my hands turn red* BRAVO!!!!!! AMAZING!!!! PREFECT!!!!! I cried SO much!!:raritydespair::raritycry::fluttercry: You earned a subscriber!!

And there was one final thing he gave me: a miracle.

Fuck you Death! This Dragon dies when he feels like it and not before! :moustache:
but seriously, i cried like a bitch and i can't tell you how happy i am that Spike survived :yay:

4676959

99% of the readers seems to love for some reason

I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing they loved it because they had an enjoyable reading experience... but that's just my wild guess. :derpyderp2:

4677038 No problem.
And don't get me wrong, the story is not bad by any means. Is just... not sad at all. But "Sad", true Sadness I mean, is not such an easy genre as everybody think it is.

4689564 And here are my guesses about your comment:
a) You probably think you just did a smart comment.
b) You probably think you just did a fun comment.
c) You probably think you just did both of the above.

4691485

Absolutely, and I'm right on all accounts. It's most likely correct that people liked it because they find it enjoyable, I had fun posting it, and that directly coincides with making option C correct, also. Yay, I win. :scootangel:
