Luna recognizes is wallowing in the night by herself feeling lonely, when she decides to head off looking for somepony who is awake and to spend time with. She happens across a shy pony at her farm house and asks her to accompany her on a small "adventure" with her.

"Luna's soft gave looking deep into her soul." I think you mean gaze, and having "Luna's deep blue eyes were seeing into her" right after it seems somewhat redundant. :moustache:
