The doors opened and we paused. Cake coated the walls, the tabled were turned over to make makeshift barriers, and food was being flung from either side of the room. AppleJack cackled as she wailed Rainbow with a baked potato. Luna and Celestia were chasing each other and tossing bits of food at each other. Rarity was hiding from a barrage of food. Spike smeared Sweetiebelle's face with mac and cheese.
Discord of course was laughing his flank off.
It was glorious. I grab some steamed cabbage and trow it at Discord.

I'm glad you didn't go over the top with prince blueblood's negativeness. I like him and like seeing stories where people attempt to portray him at least somewhat like the show in the sense that even though hes a bit snobbish,his first reaction to non royal strangers isn't to have them executed or something just cause they say or do something weird towards him. Like flash sentry he was given one shallow purpose for a few seconds but that doesn't mean we can't assume he'd get better the more hes allowed to get familiar with them. In his case I'd think it would be especially true if his aunt approves of the stranger just like the canterlot ponies like things only when ponies like Fancy Pants approved more or less so.
