100 years into the future. Equestria's old regime has been toppled, Celestia is dead, Luna is missing, and the elements have been defeated. in their place, a cruel, malicious king now rules over the kingdom, crushing all opposition, and forcing a majority of the population into lives of bitter poverty.
but in a far corner of the kingdom, a young stallion will rise to the challenge, along with friends from the past and present, they will rise up to fight the new regime, and risk everything, to save their kingdom.

4778604 well. when i wrote that they had firearms in the story, i imagined they would be more along the lines of WW 1 style weapons. so probably not many mini-guns.
as for your question about Spike. he will make an appearance and he will play a major part in the following events of the story, and since i don't usually give out spoilers, i'll just say that he makes his initial appearance in the second part of the story.
