The new shipment of books has arrived at the library! And it was Spikes given duty to sort all of them out while Twilight did some chores.
But within the group is a new foals book known as "Paper Mario." Sure some books could arguably have weirder titles, but this one made Spike curious.
With Twilight and her friends as an audience, it's up to Spike to complete the story and save the supposed princess from the floating castle!

But anyway if you own a Wii or Wiiu you really should try out Paper Mario 64. (I don't own a Wiiu so I don't REALLY know if you can get Paper Mario on it but I'll just assume)
The original Paper Mario still holds most of the charm that Thousand Year Door holds while still feeling like a Mario game.
Like seriously... It's still awesome.
4531284 It still pains me that the last two Paper Mario games were so sub par compared to the original and TTYD.
Super Paper Mario felt more like they just slapped Paper Mario into a standard Mario game and Sticker Star... well it was a mess when it came to the combat which is one of the main focuses of any RPG. You should NEVER have to grind items just to attack! EVER!
Sorry had to get that out of my system but, yeah you've got my interest, I'll save my upvote for later but, I shall be watching. Nice use of the line where it says Bowser's changing the story around the time Spike's sucked into it by the way.
4532782 Heh when I was watching the intro to Paper Mario 64 I knew that I had to put Spike in the book at that point.
On the topic of the other Paper Mario's though,
Super Paper Mario isn't that bad, it's just... Really different in comparison... I (in my personal opinion) think that Super Paper Mario had my favorite story... But the gameplay was meh for the most part.
Sticker star... I'm honestly still trying to forget that it was a thing that happened still.

Alright right, quick little update.
I have made amazing progress making the next chapter, if I'm able to keep up the pace, I should have the next chapter ready either tomorrow or the day after.

I can honestly agree in most respects... Although my track record is kinda slow on my other story... It's mostly just because I lost some interest in it...
However, it's safe to say that I'm having a lot more fun writing this then I thought I originally would.
Soo. Yeah... Defiantly expect more to come.
Coincidentally I was planning on a Paper Mario adaptation too. It would most likely be based on Paper Mario X because my first two attempts at Paper Mario adaptations were terrible.
4531284 Paper Mario is available for the Wii Virtual Console, yes. But I think you have to buy it again if you have a Wii U.

I was looking forward to play that when I found out it was for the 3DS, but now... well, as much as I like the Paper Mario series, this is one game that I will never touch. I will save my money on much better 3DS games, like Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright.

I do tend to mess around with the previous chapters when I'm trying to take a quick break from making a new chapter.
Although a lot of personal problems came up last month and the beginning of this month... It's safe to say that the new chapter is almost done...

I wasn't originally going to do this...
Buuuut I might as well keep you guys up to date on how much progress I've made on the next chapter.
Currently, as of the time I've posted this. I have a little bit more then 5,000 words put into the chapter...
I predict about 8,000 to maybe 10,000 words (key word: maybe) when it's done.
It gets hard when you have minor writers block but still desperately want to make a chapter for others to read...
On that note, time to get back to work!
I really like the paper mario series. So I'm not surprised this story is pretty good. Keep up the good work! Can't wait for more. :)
