Should have gone with a sequel for a story that was actually good. "A Different Kind of Love" would have been a way better one of your stories for a follow up. Archmage is so thirsty.

Ok, I was very excited to see this.
I read it... and I love it so far.
I was VERY surprised to find a few grammatical errors!
Very unusual. Normally, every chapter seems perfect. What happened?
Overall. 10/10 I would enthusiastically recommend this as a new story for anyone who loves a good read to take a look at.

Not bad. She reminds me of myself, and that is what you want. You want the reader to connect with the character.
Sounds like she might have a little Aspergers Syndrome (A [relatively low level] form of Autism) or AD/HD.
Well, I find this a nice read. Like I said before, it is nice that I can identify with Star. That makes this story all the more interesting.

You've done well with Star, I like her already. Out of curiosity, is this far enough in Equestria's future that the Elements of Harmony have again become legend? I only ask because Star failed to mention anything about them (or Twilight being the bearer for the Element of Magic at least) Eagerly looking forward to more.

(Before anyone brings up "Daring Don't", just don't. I refuse to acknowledge that as canon and instead choose to believe that was all a very severe fever dream of Dash's; they almost lost her that winter ... so sad)
Off to a great start, though I expected nothing less.
Star comes across as a klutzier version of pre-Elements Twilight; She may get more distracted than Twilight probably did, but I can see a bit of that same determination that kept Twi going.
I can't wait to see what's next!

I enjoy how you write it into your plot, even when you do it every chapter. What I am asking is if its going to be like the original Archmage ( with only two/three clop chapters) or like Lilly the Changeling level of clop.

At first I kept misreading 'Star Caster' as 'Star Chaser', now that I think about it, both names sound pretty cool but I guess the 2nd would fit more for one of Luna's students.
