Once upon a time, in a land of towering green statues and towers so tall they make you dizzy, there was a team. This team, it was composed of extraordinary people, with extraordinary powers. They used these powers to defend the weak and defenseless around them, and were more of a family than a team.
These heroes, often referred to as the Earth's mightiest, were called the Avengers. They had seen some very, VERY crazy things in the past, but nothing could prepare them for a world of magical talking ponies.
How will they get home, you ask?

Yes! You made an avengers in equestria story! You know this isn't the first one I read. There was another one I read I forgot what it was called but it was about the avengers in equestria. But it was really different. The avengers and the mane 6 switched bodys and well stuff happened. The only thing I remembered was that Tony was in Rainbows body, Thor was in Twilight's and Steve was in AJ'S (forgot the others). I lost the story. ( by that I mean my computer blacked out so I lost my data). I could never find it again. Because I forgot the title. Btw great start! Hope this one is better than the last one. It was interesting but I didn't like it that much. Here's a mustache for support!
Btw forgot to say the data thing sounded like it was my story. I didn't own the story just to point that out.
as Rainbow Dash once said, "BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" I can't wait to see the rest of the avengers wake up as ponies, especially Thor. to say that the shit will hit the fan is an understatment.

I have a few questions though. First, the picture for this story shows Tony as a unicorn, but he is a pegasus when he gets in Equestria. If the picture is meant to be an accurate showing of the Avengers, does this mean that Tony will be able to turn into a unicorn? I know that sounds dumb, by I was just confused by what I saw in the picture and what I read in the story. I am also guessing that Tony will be able to build another suit or even summon it if he can turn into a unicorn. The next question is really more of a hope; if Thor is going to be an alicorn, will romantic hijinks that involve Celestia and Luna take place? I can just picture those two being pretty happy that there is suddenly a male alicorn in Equestria. 
Regardless of whether or not any of that happens this is still a story that I would love to see continued. Keep up the great work!

This is an interesting premise, but I can't help but feel like you've missed the personality of the characters. I can see that you are trying, and that is good, but you've still missed your mark. It just doesn't sound like the characters would actually say what is written in their dialogue. For instance, Tony's reaction to being a pony is probably the closest, but I'd imagine it going more:
over what you wrote. But on the whole it is not a bad story so far.

4888262 - I'm fine with most of the characterizations in the picture, but Tony Stark should definitely be an Earth Pony. He doesn't have any sort of special powers nor is he personally all that agile. It's all due to his suit which lets him fly and fight. Plus I think having wing shaped thrusters would work very well visually. A Gundam esq look I'd guess.
Close, so close, but I think his character would be more...struggling with the phone, first, because he isn't used to the technology quit yet, and it is a smll device in his big hands, and then I think the quote would be more;
"Nicholas, to what occasion do I have the honor to hear from you over this puny human telecommunication method?" Or something. Remember, he is lightly arrogant, because he IS a god, and it would add make his character more as far as accuracy...no?
Otherwise, you got the rest spot on! Wel done...MORE, soon, RIGHT???

Aw man! I thought this would be a crossover with the avengers: Earth's mightiest heroes cartoon, not the movies. Well, let's see this goes.
I did notice a few hiccups in the formatting/wording and what the characters should say, and I hope you caught them all because I don't want to be that one person that nitpicks every little thing. Overall, I can see this as a great story with plenty of potential. I'm interested to see where you go with this.
Question: if they couldn't handle the worm hole... then the why the hell did Fury call for and send them handle it!? I mean, my big G God! The Avengers are probably Fury's GREATEST ASSET... and yet he essentially sent them for all intents and purposes to become MIA if not KIA!
Unless it turns out Fury and the entirety of SHIELD were replaced by Skrulls or Tony and the other Avengers are retarded... I don't see how sending The Avengers in to plug up a wormhole when they have no way of doing this and are primarily good at smashing things (especially in the movies)... is anything other than a lame plot device to cover up the fact that you really wanted to get them in Equestria quickly. I mean, at least cover it up in a way that would make sense.

Okay. First thing I'd do would have Nick, if he wasn't a Skrull or a Space Phantom, give The Avengers SOMETHING to close the wormhole with, because last time I remember, The Avengers are mostly good at fighting things that can be fought and NOT taking out giant portals that send to parallel universes or other planets. Either that, or have Thor, using Mjolnir, try and close it since at least with Mjolnir, there's a precedent in the comics and in Earth's Mightiest Heroes of him using it for portal type stuff.
This is cute, needs some minor tweaking, like everyone says. You didn't quite get the stuffy/butler/computer tone right. When you change who you talk to then you need a new paragraph. All this can be fixed by re-watching "The Avenger's" movie a few times, or just re-watching the signature movies that came before it...
I mean even at the end of the last "Iron Man" movie Tony was still arrogant and I didn't really see that much here.
Thor didn't seem as detached from the humans.
Things just seemed to need those small fixes, otherwise it was well written and the concept is unique.

The Hulk as a 'Horse' is going to crack the planet and Pinkie/Discord are going to make him go from Zero-Infinity with rage and well anything after that is suicidal.
A writing convention that I noticed is lacking in this chapter, and the last one but I had it played as audio so I didn't notice it then.
"I rather enjoyed the chapter," Person A said.
"Indeed, and I have a sneaking suspicion that Stark and Dash are going to be friendshipped," replied Person B.
A new line whenever the speaker changes, it makes it easier to keep track of who's talking. "Otherwise it makes it," Person A began. "Slightly confusing," Person B finished. "That is nothing but lies good sir," Person C interrupted.
I am okay with pegasus Stark, as I've seen depictions of him as everything but an alicorn, and most of the Iron Mare/Pony fics use Dash. Loki being grey caught me off guard, as I'm used to this representation of him. Regardless, needs more pony.
