OK, that was funny, and a nice bit on deconstruction what it means to live in a town subject to attacks by gigantic star-beasts, invasions by all-devouring multiplying parasprites, and Derpy Hooves.

To be honest, I cannot wait for the My Little Pony episode that deals with the election of a mayor. As with all political debates, it's bound to get nice and ugly really fast.

Brilliant story! Loved the Hitchhiker reference at the end. Great story from start to finish. [insert more glowing praise here.]

After reading:  well this has been enjoyable, I don't think I've read a mayor mare story before.

Ponyville is preety.....accident proned huh? Tartarus, dams, derpy, you'd think celestial would've picked a better place lol

Even in Equestria politicians're always cutting library funding first.

Brilliantly funny story. "Do you know how awful ‘randomly subject to disaster’ looks to potential homeowners?" was just brilliant!

I am forced to wonder if Equestria has building and fire codes, and how much of Ponyville is in violation. Much enjoyed.

Seriously, for such a small town, far too much seems to happen to its population that would qualify as "Wrath of the Gods".

This is a really good one. The moment where the mayor was waggling her hooves at Twilight in particular got a pretty hearty chuckle out of me.

Well, it was quite funny, but I'm sure I didn't catch all the references there. Might be because I'm a foreigner.

Anyway - Mayor Mare sure has it hard. For a backwater town like Ponyville a lot of strange crap happens all the time there.

That was a laugh

(And the moral of the story is, live somewhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE.)
