A Bayonetta crossover? Gonna have to read this later.

Have a muffin 'cos that was awesome :rainbowdetermined2:

Two mustaches for you! :moustache::moustache:

One question:

Why DID Twilight try to prevent Trixie from entering? :trixieshiftright:

I'm afraid I cannot give you a favorite without an answer.:moustache:

Twilight is very, very possessive of Princess Celestia.

Thanks! I literally wrote this in a single night for an April Fool's gag and inadvertently re-discovered my love of writing battle scenes in the process. Will hopefully be working on a more traditional crossover soon, where I've learned far more since this old thing. :raritywink:

THAT... That I cannot wait to see.

I...I how did I miss this in your library?!?!

Ehhh, there are stories I spotlight, and stories I don't. :rainbowlaugh:

4162233 This was like 10 kinds of absurd awesome though, I'm glad I decided to scroll through your works again to see if anything jump out at me. Plus being a Bayonetta crossover/parody just gave you free license to do all of it.

On a side not does it make me weird for thinking Twi is sexy with glasses? It makes me weird doesn't it?

No, it makes you a functional human being. :P

At any rate, thanks! I've actually been working on polishing up my action text lately and have had something of a spiritual successor to this on the back burner on a while now. When the first is done, maybe I'll see about the other.

4162291 Well you're pretty much on my read everything list. I really tend to enjoy your works. So more power to you. I'll wait and see what pops up next from you.

4162354 On a last note I am looking forward to Specks n Shades next update.

ohmaigosh, I just beat this game today!! I might just have to read you now :pinkiegasp::pinkiehappy::pinkiecrazy: Such a good game. I will say this comment now and review later.

I will have to read this, just really busy now. Stay awesome!!!

Heh... wow, this was pretty enjoyable. Nice, short and sweet battle -- and with Bayonetta as the crossover, no less! You pulled it off well.

Trixie took a step back, a look of mild awe on her face. "...ooh. Finally decided to get serious, love?" Her own horn glowed, revealing twin pistols which began a slow horizontal orbit around her body. She then pointed a hoof to Twilight's face. "That explain the glasses, too?"

It's Sci-Twi! Bookish can see the future! :pinkiecrazy:

"A beautiful mind, indeed!"

I remembered that movie having a lot more to do with math.

...

Oh, it's a different crossover. :pinkiehappy: I finally pulled this one out of the Steam backlog where it'd been for five years played Bayonetta late last year, but only got about two hours in before deciding I loved the style but wasn't having a whole lot of fun.

Lots of that style here, from the improbable, reality bending gunplay to the steady undertone of innuendo, and unlike the game I can follow what's happening. :twilightsheepish: Not something I can say about every action scene I've ever seen, though; the teleport spam helps grease the wheels, but keeping two characters moving around each other in a way that's easy to visualize and track doesn't always happen, even in visual mediums.

The dialogue and overall tone matches Bayonetta quite well,
but the image of those two twilyporting all over the place with guns
magically orbiting around them, I got more of a PMMM/Rebellion vibe from
their fight. Which only adds awesome to that mental image.

Wondering when Tia's gonna tell Twi to resolve that sexual tension and stop
riddling the palace with bullet holes, tho.

To be honest, it would have been better if Princess Luna fought Queen Chrysalis in a manner similar to Bayonetta. She would also have guns on her hind legs that I named Tidal Force (The right gun is named Perigee and the left gun is named Apogee) and would summon Diomedes to finish off Chrysalis and send her straight to Inferno. (The climax theme from Bayonetta 2 would play during that moment.)

Also, after the battle, Derpy would deliver a package to Princess Luna, which turns out to be another Pure Platinum trophy to add to the shelf.

On a related note, Princess Celestia and the Hierarchy of Laguna have NOT been on speaking terms with each other for centuries.
