CrossMalaki

E

Nicol Bolas, Elder Dragon Planeswalker, has set his sights on Equestria to take control of a strange power he senses there, and to add another world to his new empire. However, Jace Beleren has heard of Bolas's plan, and immediately dispatches Cross Malaki to defend it.

Not as interesting as the one I read where Derpy Hooves is a planeswalker. :derpyderp1: :derpytongue2: :derpyderp2:

I haven't seen that one. I just had been bouncing the idea around last summer and felt the need to right it. I've been writing it from a Magic point of view though, so that might be part of it.

It's on fanfiction.net and it's called Elementals of Harmony. It is very fun to read and still awesome.

Okay, I am filled with happiness at seeing a MTG crossover fanfic, as I am a bit of a MTG superfan.
Your plot shows promise, and your choice of villain is superb.
I have some criticisms for you
1: the amount of characters involved in the story so far is pushing it, I think we could have easily done without Tezzeret.
2: Your main character, which is probably based on something you dreamed up, is lacking a sense of magic identity. I can't tell whether he's supposed to be white (the legion), red (the fireball), or blue (the mind magic). Please fix this.
3: References to actual magic cards would be very cool.

Like what you did with the flyover of everfree.

I hope your protagonist sticks to his white red identity from here on out, and appreciate the whole leyline thing and the nimbus wings.
I don't know if Celestia needed to be in this passage, but your the writer.

enjoyed more than chapter 1.

His identity is meant to be red-white-blue. He was a legionnaire prior to ignition, and later picked up blue magic working for Jace.
Also, yes, there's a lot of characters involved, but there is a list of characters that will not be involved so as to keep the numbers down.
Thank you for the criticism, anything that helps me improve is always welcome.

Not bad. Certainly the best MTG/MLP crossover i've read, and none of the others were very good.

Best cross over yet! I love Magic The Gathering, and I really like but not quite love MLP. I hope this updates soon.
