Huh. This is actually very well written, which I honestly didn't expect. Characterization for this universe is consistent, the humour is excellent, particularly this line:
It blindsided me hard enough to get me giggling, which doesn't happen often. It's even got a nice twist at the end that I wasn't expecting. Good job, man!

Thank you! This account is an alt, because seriously what the hell did I just write, but don't worry: I have not actually written anything else. I like to think I'm pretty good with all the things you noted, but I'm absolute pants when it comes to actually having a story to write. All the characterization in the world won't get you past having a complete and utter lack of ideas. This was something that happened on that ultra-rare occasion when something in another piece by someone else just made things spark. I think my eyes may have glowed rainbow. Anyway, glad you liked it!
Ah here it is. I knew I'd read this before. I kept thinking this was a chapter from the original I'd somehow skipped, but the grammar is much better on this one. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this one.
I do recommend you drop the human tag, though. I know it's usually a big turn off for me, so I'm sure it is for others as well, and we don't really see any humans in this.

This is not true.
This, as it turns out, is true (I've never had to use a button to make a link, so I didn't know), but it makes no sense. The story is rated Mature, and the links the site generates in the sidebar are rated Mature--including the same story I linked to--and it's in the same group, so you can navigate to the same place, etc., etc. You cannot get to the link without having Mature content enabled. Failing to provide the link would be a disservice to readers. I would prefer to see this made explicit in the Terms of Service (which I have yet to encounter) before making changes.

It's not really so much where it's hosted as the content itself, to my understanding.
5574797 It is not against TOS to have a Mature story linked to another Mature story. Now if it was a teen or lower story and you linked to a Mature, then there would be an issue. The rule is basically in place so you don't link to things like explicit derpibooru pics and such.
