This is a project I've been working on for several years. But only once I saw My Little Pony "Friendship is Magic" did I find the perfect pony group to complete this crossover. Thanks to Lauren Faust I've found the perfect ponies that I think have helped make this idea possible! I know there will be some who do not like it, but hey, ya can't win them all. Now to the summary!
The ponies hold a ceremony opening the magnificent Celebration castle built for their beloved Princess Celestia. However the festivities are cut short when a sinister warlock and his henchmen arrive and begin wreaking havoc on Ponyville! The invader turns out to be a villain Celestia thought she and Luna had defeated centuries ago. Now he has returned and he is seeking revenge and to complete the plans the two princesses thwarted! As the carnage of battle beings to grip the once peaceful town, Twilight Sparkle comes up with a plan to send Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie to Earth. There she hopes they can gain the aid of Goku and his friends.
It has been several years since the kind saiyan and his friends first discovered Equestria. They enjoyed the hospitality of the lovable equines and even helped them defeat a sinister demon who planned to destroy all of Equestria. Now it's Twilight's hope that Goku and his friends will aid them once more. Together will they defeat the warlock, and will he succeed in implementing his plans this time? Read on to find out!

Each episode (except episode 1) includes a previous episode paragraph. Great in case you can't read all the chapters at once. And each episode includes a short next episode preview paragraph to keep your appetite wet for more!
If you want to know where this story's events put each character. MLP is near the middle of season two (up to Hearts and Hooves Day). And Dragon Ball Z is around the middle of season 4 (Before they meet cell). The events of this series aren't designed to perfectly parallel with each series. It's sort of like the DBZ movies.
I've done 3 chapters hoping to give you all an idea of where the story is going. Should it be popular, I will gladly continue with the series. And should that happen, there will be a minimum 15 to 20 episodes total!

I've been busy working on one of my other fics. The readers keep asking for more updates on it so I haven't had much time for this one. But I hope to add another episode before too long. The good news is I have episode 4 started already! I just need to finish it.

Yeah that's the spot in the DBZ timeline I was shooting for or before the battles with Androids 17 & 18. Like the DBZ movies this story isn't designed to 100% parallel either series, but I tried to find a plausible place to fit it in. I'm glad you like it. I'd update this more frequently, but based on it's lack of popularity, and the fact I have other more popular stories I've been working on, it's sadly taken a back seat. But I do plan to continue it. Just not sure when I'll have time to continue with Episode 5. The good news is that i have this planned out clear till the end. And the plot is very true to Dragon Ball Z, if I do say so myself and the addition of the ponies is the icing on the cake!
That's actually pretty brilliant. Although it would have been awesome to have this take after the Kid Buu Saga (since that would me we'd get to see Super Saiyan 3, which is THE best transformation ever), placing it in that timeline is just as brilliant, since, hopefully, that means we'd get to see Super Saiyan. You, my friend, are still awesome. Very, very AWESOME!!!!
And even if you don't make Goku transform into a Super Saiyan, who cares? Goku's still awesome without that transformation.
Oh, before I stop talking, in the story, Goku and the others know the ponies because they fought an enemy that was in Equestria a long time ago. Was that also in the Android Saga? Because, as I can recall, there was no other time for the Z Fighters to fight an enemy in Dragon Ball Z before the Android Saga.

If I ever do a prequel to this series, the time Goku and his friends first visit Equestria, will be fall in the DBZ timeline after Frieza's defeat. Most likely after the Trunks Saga. (If you note in the story, Goku and ponies remark that it's been nearly 3 years since they were last in Equestria). In fact this series is taking place at almost the end of the 3 years before the arrival of the androids. And hey you know Goku, he loves to cut things close. It's what makes him so awesome! And as for Super Saiyan transformations, don't worry. I've got this all planned out. And while it takes place before the incredible SSj3 transformation, I have something really special in mind that will work nicely in the crossing over of Dragon Ball Z and My Little Pony FIM! Gee I may have to continue this soon than planned, if nothing else, for you and the other two who have been enjoying this. And perhaps the other few who have fav'd this, but just haven't commented.

Thank you for those comments! I was just in a bit of a slump tonight. I wasn't sure what I wanted to work on tonight. Thanks to your words I found new fuel to work on this story! I've just gotten a good start to Episode 5 now. And I'm up to the part I've wanted to work on for a while now. And once episode 5 is done. The rest of the series will just keep getting more eventful! Oh the battles you will see...Ponies and Z warriors alike with be going to town! Keep in mind Sarabrek has been designed with traditional DBZ villains in mind, not mention some of the cleverness of the pony villains as well.. So I don't think you'll be disappointed by him!

The Mane Six's average power level: 1 million

He isn't a normal character from Dragonball Z - he's a character I made up. I wanted to add a character like Teen Trunks, but didn't want to actually use Teen Trunks, so I created Jayden. He's sort of a composite character. I'd go more into detail, but I might end up spoiling some of the story if I did.

I do apologize, but I have stories that are vastly more popular than this one, and I have to stick with what inspires me most and what my fans are demanding the most. If this story starts drawing more interest and followers, then I'll be happy to move it back into the project queue, but for now, I'm afraid I can't say when the next episode will be out. 
The main reasons are lack of time and there just doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in this story. I do plan on continuing this, I'm just not sure when that will be. That's why I put in on Hiatus for now.
