Rainbow Dash is not a pony who would easily admit to being scared, least of all by her dreams. But one time, after a dream shakes her to her core, she knows that she must find some reason behind her nightmare. What she finds gives her very little comfort indeed...

Great, thanks for the comment. Could you give me a rough idea as to what I seem to be missing? I sketched out ch. 2 and maybe 3 (depends on length) late last night and found that they are liable to have a decent amount of dialogue, so I would like to make them sound as good as possible

I'm not entirely sure exactly WHAT is lacking. It just seems like the scene is of slightly lower quality than the rest of the story. Maybe it's just Twilight herself, I don't know.
Here's a tip, look up this story. The interactions are great, and it's an all-around good story. Might give you an idea of how to proceed when it comes to character interactions.

I've dreamed bits and pieces of the future before. Most of it was little more than scenes from movies I was going to watch or video games I would play at some point, and I almost never knew what I was seeing until the event actually occurred. Only a one event was unpleasant, but fortunately, nobody actually died like what I saw, though he almost did. Now Andrew refuses to go near bodies of water outside of swimming pools.

Interesting and intriguing... Well true to your comment's twilight face, as I slowly but surely write chapter 2, Rainbow Dash is certainly not finding this fun either, nor is she taking it lightly. But anyways, all those juicy details are to be revealed at a later time, so I believe I will have to leave it at that
I'm getting a lot of Nightmare On Elm Street vibes from that thumbnail, which is a good thing since I love Nightmare On Elm Street(the original is the superior version though, the remake was a disappointment IMO).
