Dragon Spire

MLP:FiM, Undertale, and Jekyll and Hyde. These are of the Holy Trinity of my obsessions in which I lay awake at night and wonder about. And sometimes, if I can't sleep, I write about them.

[The Gore tag is for the end of Act I and onward. Beware of possible spoilers in the comments.]

Within every one of us, even the best of us, there is an essence of Goodness, and an essence of Evil.

After a freak accident resulting in her mother falling into a coma, Twilight Sparkle put her magic studies aside to pursue medical science in an effort to save her. Eight years have passed, and Doctor Sparkle has successfully concocted the TS8 Formula, a potion that can separate the natures of goodness and evil that lurk within the hearts of us all.

All that remains is a small test to prove that both the Formula and such a separation are conclusive. Everything will be certainly fine . . . right?

(AN: Takes place shortly after "Too Many Pinkie Pies", but before the "Twilicorn era".)

What Is Going On Here

Very good so far I will be sure to follow this :pinkiehappy:

You had me at Hyde

Wow! Just Wow! This is an amazing story. I can't wait for more.

It has begun! Looking forward to the rest!

4930490 You, good sir, just made my morning with that comment :pinkiehappy:
4930451 In that case, I promise you won't be disappointed.
4930067 Thank you!
4930010 Think of it as showing what has happened before the conclusion of the story, like how the Megamind movie began
4930004 Thanks. This story means a lot to me.
4930702 Thank you!

It must be fate!

I now love you! :pinkiehappy: I've been wanting to write/see a Jekyll & Hyde crossover on here forever! Please continue. :pinkiesad2:

4933068 It's fate! What bliss! (One of the lines Hyde says in the Anthony Warlow version of Alive )

4935061 Thank you. Since last December, the idea had been in my head to make Twilight Sparkle as Dr. Jekyll in my favorite Broadway musical, and rest assured, I intend to complete the story

4936672 And most album versions.

And what bliss to a Jekyll and Hyde crossover. I planned something similar with Pinkie but this look better then anything i could think up. So looking forward to Alive and the Confrontation.

Is it OK if I start a blog based off of this (I just think the name Sparkyll and Hyde is really clever and I want to make a crossover blog so)? I just want to make sure if it's okay with you, since you came up with the name and all

4949414 Of course you can! Looking forward to it :pinkiehappy:

4953468 4953468 Thanks! I finished making it! If ya wanna check it out:

TS8? Sounds like the T-virus in a way..

5135166 Naming Twilight's potion "TS8" was a spur-of-the-moment thing for me. I had no intention of naming it after a virus. (Though it is pretty funny this happened :rainbowlaugh:) While reading some Jekyll and Hyde wiki, I found out the actual name of Jekyll's potion was "HJ7", and I thought of TS8.

(Also, I knew calling it, "the potion" would get old fast)

5135259 Cool. ^^ Anyway continue this amazing work. I am impressed with the thoughtfully put into this.

So far so good. When I saw this I honestly had to do a double take. I love the Jekyll and Hyde musical so please do the master piece that it is justice.

5145821 Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying this so far. :pinkiehappy:

Keep up the amazing work man. :pinkiehappy:

Great chapter; I always enjoy listening to the musical cd. I, personally, have thought about writing a story based on The Count of Monte Cristo, which was another musical composed by Frank Wildhorn.

Also, I noticed that the Hunger Games story has started; it will be interesting to see how our individual POVs will play out.

5333924 Me too, I can't wait to see our chapters. And thank you for the favorite on my story.

Why I feel sorry for twilight I hope to see more

you know, i'm pretty sure that if she took that whole thing to court, she could probably get those three fired on the grounds that they are unable to perform their duties properly due to their personal beliefs cloud their reasoning. i mean, Octavia and Fancy Pants were the only ones who made legitimate reasons for both sides of her argument. the other two just insulted her, called her names, and spouted religious nonsense. and if she pushed it farther, i bet she could get the courts to bypass their latest ruling, and call for one from the princesses, based on the immediate need for a fair ruling, and the current inability for the Council to do it's job.

I've got some info about you int the hunger games:

"...Now for District five's tributes Starlight Comet and Coconut Swirl." I hear as I zone back into the program.

"What's your knowledge on District 5?" I ask Shift.

"They supply the electricity to all the districts." He responds. I catch a glimpse at the tributes wearing electrically charged outfits, shocking themselves so much that Coconut Swirl falls down in her float. I can't help but laugh a little.

"I think they overdid it a little with representing their district." Shift says laughing with me.

"...Please stand by while we tend to the injured tributes." The tv chimes in.

Wow.
Nice.
I think I'll keep reading it.

To be completely honest, my image of ponified Jekyll and Hyde is firmly lodged in the spot of Dr. Pinkie and Miss Pie (Curses upon thee, Ink Potts), but science-wise, Twily would probably draw a better case. I think i'll just see where you go with this.

It has been a long time since you updated this story, but glad to see you are still here:pinkiehappy:
that pony that won't let spike in because he a dragon should be fired for his rudest :twilightangry2:

6045661 I ain't going down without a fight, writer's block! :rainbowdetermined2: :derpytongue2:

And very interesting story nonetheless, and eager to see how it goes.

can't wait for twilight to feel...Alive.:pinkiecrazy:

YES!
Keep up the good work.

good start, definitely read more.

6424493 I'm not completely familiar with "The World has Gone Insane", but I enjoyed listening to that one, and I love almost all the songs from the musical (I say almost because a couple of the reprises don't feel all that special.)

6424508 glad you like the last one (And i understand about the reprisal thing) but you must admit alive had good clips from the earlier jekyll and hyde films that made it work quite well.)

"The Dark Side of the Force is strong in this universe."
Poor Twilight, she is now on a dark road that will be very hard to get off of. And if she does, I have a feeling it will not end well.

Another great chapter and a job well done. Keep up the good work, I am looking forward to rest of the story.

6482649 :rainbowlaugh: You know, I make a lot of Star Wars jokes whenever watching Jekyll and Hyde (Funny enough, I just finished watching it again as I'm typing this) To put an example, I joke that Jekyll is secretly a Jedi, judging by how he 'moves' the furniture during the setting transition in "This is the Moment."

But Star Wars fangirling aside, thanks for the feedback, I'm having so much fun writing this.

6482777 You are welcome. Have fun and enjoy it.

6495163 Thanks for all the comments and upvote, but to explain a couple things: The links are put there so those unfamiliar with Jekyll and Hyde can have background music to fully enjoy the numbers, and color text is added so it's easier to tell who's singing. (Putting "she sang" and "he belted" can get old real fast)
Connive also means to secretly allow, so I felt like it fit fine.

Everything else is either just my own thing (capitalizing Mother) or just proof that I'm only a beginner in the writers' pool.

Sorry if I sound rude or indignant, but I just wanted to clear up any confusion.

6520488 Thanks for the comment! Hope you like what's to come.

It's already happening.

Isn't it?
