Twilight doesn't strike me as a pony who can hold her alcohol (or hell, even drinks very much to begin with) this well. You'd think she'd be phased by the amount she apparently drank a little more than a little slur in her speech the night of.
Then again, I didn't read the original fic, so I'm probably missing some context here.

In my opinion, she has an alcohol cabinet that sees responsible, yet regular use.
