This is a REALLY good story for being your first. It's pretty much unheard of that someone new to the site writes something and it's not a mess. This was well done, played well with Pinkie and Dash's personalities. Like and fave.

However...

The pink pony only sniffed and looked down at the floor with more wet tears staining her cheeks.

Floor, street, same difference.

Dash stood back up normally and tilted her head at the pony's strange name.

How is that strange name for an Equestrian?

Pinkie Pie replied with closed blue eyes and a bright smile on her face.

I find this odd. No, wait, I counted and that an even number of letters. (But really, I find that bit a little weird)

She moved some dirt along the ground in a circle as she looked down to the floor.

Where're they sitting?

For all I know they could be torturing ponies with overly expensive and extremely unnecessary hair care products in there.

I like this; it is funny.

THIS is for making fun of PINKIE Pie!

Why is pinkie in caps but pie isn't? But to be honest I think neither should be in caps.

You should be HAPPY that she CAME here...

It just seems a little weird for that to be caped.

She looked back into the store as she rubbed her knuckles.

I didn't know that about hooves.

"Hmm, you don't say."

Aside from these the only thing is that their thoughts aren't in italic or anything to make it apparent that they're thoughts. This is a good story and you should be happy with what you've made.
