I have the most relevant wingboner. I'm also laughing my ass off. You definitely get my approval!

I don't think it was bad. It was well-written. Good job! :3 :raritywink: :raritywink:

:pinkiecrazy:only vinal would know and have soo many deviations.:pinkiecrazy:

This was... Interesting.

Keep up the good work!

Well, I can say that was actually quite interesting. I was initially drawn in by the pure mention of Octavia, and I can't say I wasn't satisfied after reading this fic. While I'm not specifically into clopfiction (or, for that matter, any erotica), I have studied the art and I have to say that this was a well executed piece. I could only find a few minor areas, mostly in the more "steamy" parts, so to speak, but besides that, this had a very drawing style and excellent sequence of events.

Also, I really liked the intricate nods to people of specific practices. I personally am a violinist and have always been fascinated by computer technology and programming, so I found both the bit about Octavia's reminiscence of the bow and Vinyl's explanation of her device to be fun little aspects. Specifically, the bow; I admire anyone who can change the way someone's mind is leading, and I was about to call bullshit on the whole "Bow masturbation" concept.

Overall, very good! Even if it is a touchy subject for most bronies, I found this to be interesting. You've earned yourself a thumb.

Pretty cute, even though I prefer to imagine Octavia and Vinyl with a little more..sophistication in their love. :moustache:

Oh sweeeeet. Brb, dismantling a subwoofer.

I really loved this. And now I will always imagine that Vinyl and Octavia are together.

A thumb earned, mostly based off me laughing during this. I'm not one to actually enjoy these for their cloptastic whatever their called's so the little stories and amount of imagination here was what made this good. Nice work. Scary imagination you have, but nice. :derpytongue2:

Great job.

One of the... better written pieces of clop i've read.

:twilightoops::pinkiegasp::fluttershbad::derpyderp1::applejackconfused::raritydespair::rainbowhuh:

...I don't know what I just read...:trixieshiftleft:But..I think I enjoyed it :trixieshiftright:

Very good

I now have quite a few fetishes that I was unaware I had... uhhh thanks I guess? :twilightblush:

In actuality though this story was written great, didn't see any errors myself, and it's got one of my favorite shippings. TaviScratch doing very erotic things with music... oh yes I like this :rainbowlaugh:

Excellent $!!!!:moustache:

*slow clap*
:pinkiehappy:

Thank you all so much!

This was not only adorable but quite well written in many parts :D

Only noticed to errors:

"Octavia flopped over the arm of the couch to watched her go,"

That should be "to watch", not "to watched".

The other one was this:
"then heard herself add a wild, falsetto shriek to the mix"

Women don't have falsetto in their voices, only men do.

Other than that, great fic...

Brilliant! Simply brilliant! :yay:

This is definitely one of my favorite ships, thanks to my own personal love for music. Very well written, and very entertaining too. Great job!

I'ma just go with: that was really well written, AND really sexy
and silly
and

good.

Is it wrong to have a boner from this?
*CLICHÉ ALERT*
Cause if it is, I don't wanna be right:moustache:

Hey, Zooty! Zoot zoot! :pinkiehappy:
I'm curious which parts you think weren't well-written, since that's what I need to improve on.

378276
Thanks for catching the 'watch' thing. However, women do have a falsetto register. It's just less pronounced than men's.

After reading your story, I thought you could switch around 'Electrotica' with 'Aurotica' because it had to with music, but the former seems to stick better.

My only hangup was Octavia's nickname. 'Tavi sounds much better than Octy (that's just my opinion).

It was a good read. I had a couple of giggles, and found a new fetish for 'Tavi and Vinyl in my own headcanon.

My thumb. You has earned it.

Very imaginative!

I think the non-sex parts were the best written, particularly at the beginning when you described them (for lack of a better term) making out and getting intimate without going into sexual details

Cello part of Canon is tedious to play?
Yea, you said it sister. Hate Canon just because of that.

Great story btw im lovin it so far

I think I found it, the TaviScratch to end all. This was amazing for what it was, turn it into a story and I can die happily. I'll pretend this is a clip scene from near the beginning, just after they get over doing it normally just so I won't be tempted to do it myself.

... not sure what i just read but

me gusta.

kinky, but not disturbingly so... reminds me of my ex. Now THERE is a story not meant for mortal ears.

I... Wow. I think you just gave me a fetish. :twilightblush:

Now, I'm normally not one to read clopfiction at all, but for this I make an exception. Very, very well written. And damn you, don't you know that you shouldn't put ideas like these into the head of a bass guitarist who has a good knowledge of electronics. :raritywink:

Well this was fun:pinkiehappy:

:fluttershyouch: Well, interesting to say the least.

I clopped, and thoroughly enjoyed doing so :scootangel: :moustache: :facehoof:

can you please wright more explaining Vinal's other 'kinks'

445828
I suppose I might eventually, but right now I have at least three other ideas knocking around in my head.

and this one time, at band camp...:rainbowlaugh:
american pie was the first thing that came to mind

Jolly good, old chap. Jolly good.

Well done, writing a clopfic like this while still managing to keep it sensual (in a way) bravo.

Looking forward to more stories like this.

And people openly bitch and moan about clopfics.

THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE MISSING!

Fave and thumbs up!

Electrical play: Because what is in one situation a (kinky) sexual act is in another banned by the Geneva Conventions and a crime against humanity! (And a bit too kinky for my tastes, but that isn't really the point).

On a more important note, something Vinyl said caught my attention: “Okay, I’ve gotcha hooked up with some bandpass filters each feeding a frequency multiplier that’ll drive—”. From what I know (and can find on Wikipedia), that set-up should actually work. Normally, frequency multipliers are used to increase the frequency of an input signal with the output fed into a bandpass filter to remove the unwanted frequencies, leaving only the desired frequency or frequencies. Vinyl's system works almost in the reverse. It separates the signal into specific frequency ranges with the bandpass filters before increasing the frequency with the multipliers (for maximum pleasure apparently...) with the preamp increasing the voltage (intensity, volume, etc.) of the signal for Vinyl's perverted enjoyment.
I'm what Twi would be like if she studied electrical engineering instead of magic... :twilightoops:

474024
The audio output would run from about 20 Hz to 20 kHz, while TENS units usually run in the 10-50 Hz range. So it's actually dividing the frequency, but I wasn't sure what to call that. It's technically the same as multiplying by a fraction... :twilightblush: Is there a name for that kind of circuit? I'll correct the text.

I'm no electrical engineer, but I do know a little somthing-something about electronics. Just enough to sound like I know what I'm talking about, LOL. I think the setup should work... in theory... but I'm not gonna be the one to test it! Vinyl's the one who knows what she's doing!

489299
You might want to change the text to mention frequency dividers instead of multipliers, then. Digital dividers reduce the input frequency by a factor of 1/2, meaning that more would have to be chained together to further reduce the frequency and that they can only divide by factors of two. The bandpass filters would still be needed to separate the frequency ranges. The preamp would still have to be limited to keep the current from reaching potentially lethal levels as well. Getting something like this to actually work would be another thing entirely, but it really isn't important to the story HOW the device works, just that it does.

Of course, as long as I'm over-thinking this, I have to wonder what the exact frequency ranges were that were sent to each of the three "sections" and what factor of division was used for each. I also managed to find out that there are actual erotic electrostimulation devices that use audio signals instead of a simple sine wave, so Vinyl's set up is just an advance from what already exists. What I haven't found out is WHY someone (or somepony) would want to hook their junk up to the mains in the first place. :rainbowhuh:

I really am like Twi, aren't I? I'm more interested in how the device in question works than what its used for...

489782
I'll make that change.
:rainbowlaugh: I was thinking of splitting them roughly along the tweeter/midrange/woofer/subwoofer ranges, but that might not work so well for a cello playing alone.

I have a legitimate band camp story.
This one time, at band camp, when I was a Freshman, I plastic-wrapped a Junior to a picnic table.

Call me a dreamer, but imma go ahead and try and mix "Canon in D Major" and "I kissed a girl" together.

Well, I can never listen to Apocalyptica the same way again. Well done!

This was absolutely brilliant! I am increasingly becoming a very big fan of you and your work.
