All Applejack wanted was to complete her chores so she could help Rarity and the girls with the Ponyville Days Festival. Maybe even get a little bit of advertisement for Sweet Apple Acres. Unfortunately, anything that involves Rarity will most likely include drama. Applejack soon finds herself hiding from a stalker, traveling writer with an obsessed crush on her and a jealous friend with a stereotypical view of her country life. At the same time, she has to try and keep her relationship with a certain rainbow haired pegasus a secret.

Oh, I don't hate him. I admit, he was somewhat of a flat character in the episode but that's only because there wasn't enough time to round him up. I actually find him interesting and would have liked to see more of his character change from the lessons learned.
I also don't have anything against any stallion or mare that likes one of the mane six.
I just wanted a reason to get Applejack mad. Poor Trenderhoof was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm also trying not to bully him. I'm just exaggerating his crush for Applejack.
It occurs to me that this expression probably means something very different to ponies. To a human, having another human on your back means you're carrying them. They're being a burden you wish to be released from. To a mare...having a stallion on your back...

I do love a good AppleDash, and though the characters haven't interacted yet you're off to a really strong start. I loved Applejack's inner monologues about Trenderhoof and it seems that you're going to follow a different path than the actual episode, which is a change from all the Rarijack that just picks up afterwards.
So, strong start, great premise, Applejack was great, and I cannot wait until you update next.
