I do like that you shipped spike and Applebloom. He definitely needs a change of scenery (and somepony closer to his age) away from Rarity. This is also the first fic I've read in a while that isn't shipping Fluttershy and Rarity. Well done!

With all the name switching, I know it probably gets confusing. Dinky is the fanon name for Derpy's daughter, and in my headcanon Derpy's real name is Ditzy Doo. Just sounds a little less derogatory for an everyday name to me.
