's cool. I've just seen and read so many lately that I'm burned out on them. I can never see the second person as 'me' I always see it as someone else so they're wasted on me anyway.

Great story so far, but I'm getting the vibe that the Mane 6 (let alone any other ponies) are anthro characters by the soldiers initial impression of them. Is this the case? Because he didn't seem to react to oddly to Fluttershy when he first saw her.

i like the idea of everypony being everyone faceing something unknow like war, but keping the ponyfacts like flying and magic

Hmm. I like the opening, high octane thrills and the battle scene is fairly solid and realistic

Three technical details:

1.) Is the the soldier a US Army soldier or a US Marine? Those two terms are not interchangable.

2.) The correct protocol for radio use is callsign of whoever you're calling and then your call sign. Ex: "Base, this is Sandman 1-3" NOT  "Sandman 1-3 to base"

3.) Write out numbers less than one hundred.

Um, are the ponies humanized, anthro or "normal forms"?
